It didn’t look like it would protect my phone at all. I needed a waterproof case for a kayak trip and didn’t want to spend a lot. I really had my doubts with this case. I actually started a return on it and then decided to test it before I sent it back. I submerged it in water for over an hour with a piece of paper inside. I cancelled the return process when I took the dry paper out from the case! I was very pleased with this case! It protected my phone while we kayaked around Pictured Rocks! It also didnt interfere with me taking perfect pictures! I didn’t talk on the phone at all using this case so I can’t review that aspect.
