T2 Max Android Thermal Night Vision Monocular, See 1500 Yards with 15mm Manual Lens, Work for Wildlife Observation (Not for iOS)

Very nice Monoscope Type Thermal Imaging Camera or device. It definitely lives up to all the advertisement! However, if you are going to use T2 Max as a hunting sight on a weapon, you need a good laser site mounted on the rail of the T2 max as there is no zeroing adjustments on the T2. However, it dose have focus ring on lens. The T2 is a Thermal imaging camera, NOT a scope. CL, Portland Oregon

Overall, I am very happy with the quality of this unit. The handle and battery combo can be mounted on a tripod for stability. The ergonomics are pretty good overall and the weight is not too heavy for a handheld unit. The extra (low profile) Picatinny rails have been very useful. For the $400 price, the image is surprisingly clear for the distances that it can see although 150 yard is all I expect I will be using it for. It is manual focus. I use a Moto5 Power TracPhone as the screen, so I can do PiP recording with audio. Focusing requires turning the lens, but it is quite easy. As I will be using this primarily at night for cryptid Investigations, I have printed a holder to be used with the side picatinny rail to hold my SiOnyx so that I have 3 image sensors coaxially mounted: Thermal, UV, and the phone's normal camera. That, along with onboard audio of the phone, makes this a nice rig. As for weapon mounting, i have not tried it yet although it seems simple enough. I do not know what it would be rated to caliber wise. Issues: The only issue that I have had is that the phone mount does not 'lock' at 90 degrees. In my use case, I need it coaxial with the other sensors. I drilled out and removed the original mount, and printed a new solid 90 degree mount, and put it on the top picatinny rail. The laser is very easy to turn on, and I will be printing a 'guard' to cover the trigger button so that I do not inadvertently turn it on. The Field Of View is quite narrow, but that is to be expected. There is a knob next to the 1/4 x 20 thread mount that makes it somewhat difficult to attach to a tripod. Overall, I am quite happy with the unit and look forward to seeing (and documenting) what cannot normally be seen. I might actually get a second one.

This camara is awesome!!!!!!!!! Have a Galaxy 22 ultra. Zero issues getting it up and going. Was nervous about getting it to work based on reviews from Amazon buyers. Used the qr code in the instructions to pull options for the app download. Worked instantly when I plugged in the phone. I'll give a full review after I figure out all the settings. Super impressed with the thermal right away. Very happy with the cost.

Device is quite fun and impressive. I have not used in a true hunting scenario at this time but fun to see a thermal image of things in the yard without breaking the bank. I would say customer service is not that great, I wanted to order extra batteries and would prefer them to be OEM but customer service will not respond to online requests or emails. The device itself works great.

This is an amazing and innovative product. The ease of use and versatility of mounting options makes it a great value. The image quality is great even at higher magnification levels. I have used it with several sizes of android devices from a relatively small phone to a 13 inch tablet and it is great with all of those.

I wish amzon would have said monitor screen was to be purchase separately and gave you an option to purchase it. I had to go to thermal master web site to purchase for 149.00. Also not very good instructions on how the app work on android. Had to turn off home wifi in order to get the app to work .hope this helps other out

Android 10 and the Thermal Master T2 just don't work! I worked with Thermal Master customer support, but after two good interactions, customer support then ceased communications with me entirely. OTG (On The Go) seams to be the issue, I ran USB OTG checking software and my phone passed, however the T2 entirely fails to function with my device. I am very disappointed, the build quality of the system is great, as well the soft sided storage case is excellent and the system seams as though it would be easy to use. No matter the Thermal Master software I have tried, the T2 refuses to connect and communicate with my Android device!

While this is cool as a handheld unit, I got it to mount on a 10” 300blk AR for hog hunting. It mounts easily but I wish the pre-attached plug only had one USB plug, or had a way to switch the plug. As it is, you’re stuck using the factory cable. I’m planning to see if I can 3d print another option. The thermal view works well and has several options for color depending on your situation. The dark mode with white-hot is perfect for night hunting as the screen is mostly dark except for heat.
