This weight is light so I'm assuming you are buying for a female or child. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Thunderbell design for lighter weight *by T***S on February 19, 2016* I have a Teeter Thunderbell and all four DVD workouts. My wife and son were so impressed with the workout they wanted to join me. I also use kettle bell workouts with my thunderbell. but the thunderbell comes in one weight 10 lbs. My wife who suffered from tunnel tunnel carpal needed something lighter weight, and my son is young so they both needed something lighter weight. My son doesn't have the coordination for a kettle bell so the risks were too great. Solution, the NuBell.This size new bell is the perfect solution for using this for cardio boxing, tae bo, kettle bell or thunderbell workouts; and is far far safer. I am now saving my money for the heavier weighted NuBells for myself. The only con with this particular 3 lb size is the hand grip is too small for a mans hand. This size can only be used for by women and kids. Too bad. they are missing a market for weighted boxing cardio workouts.If you research this product by going to youtube, their website and research awards, this product is winning the awards right and left because it seriously helps people work out with out incurring or furthering existing injuries in the wrist.My only con for the heavier weight NuBells is the cost. I can see cashing in on the design, but they remind me of that guy who bought the pharmaceutical company and jacked the price 4,000%. The current price point is 30% too high in Feb. 2016. Even at a 30% price reduction, the product is still premium priced. So today's pricing is intellectually disrespectful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great addition for my Les Mill workouts *by T***E on April 16, 2020* I love doing body pump by Les Mill. The Les Mill equipment can be quite costly and I do have a barbell set from them (5 yrs old). Noticed they have newer plates that look so much more comfortable to hold but I really do not want to pay that much to get them. Was looking around for alternatives and stumbled upon these.Love the fact you can get 4 pounds and 3 pound weights as i am pretty sure i will make the most of them during the bicep and tricep sessions with Les Mill. I don't see myself using the 1 pound or 2 pound weights as it is too light for me. Perhaps someone that has weak wrist might find them adaquate.I do agree with another review that if you are a man with large hands they might be too small for you.
