What is the depth (front to back) of the printer with the power cord sticking out? My space is 12" deep. Want to make sure it will fits. Thanks!

The depth of the machine is 16-1/4". The power cord plug is tucked under, not I the very back, but the paper tray (and finished copy guide) stick out 5-1/4" in the front. Without the paper tray or output guide, the printer is 11" deep.

If it is used wirelessly exclusively (no USB) will it always wake from sleep to print, regardless of how long it's been since the last job?

I was using canon lbp6230dw to print; it was working fine, all of a sudden it stopped printing from my laptop. I tried to print from my desktop, it prints fine, but my tablet shows it is asleep. Why would one computer show it as asleep, while another prints fine; doesn't seem to make sense? Any ideas on how I can wake it up?
