TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero: BLUE2 Dual Dynamic Drivers in-Ear Headphone with Detachable Cable (3.5mm+mic Cable)

I upgraded to the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero: BLUE2 after using the Zero: Red, and I couldn’t be happier with the change. While I already loved the sound of the Red, I find the BLUE2 to be slightly more comfortable for long listening sessions, which has made a noticeable difference during extended gaming and music sessions. The sound quality is simply exceptional, especially when paired with a good DAC/amp. The level of detail, instrument separation, and overall clarity is outstanding. Music sounds incredibly engaging, with a balanced presentation that lets you appreciate every little detail, while games benefit from excellent imaging and positional audio. I mainly use them for PC gaming and listening to music, and they’ve been amazing for both. In games, it’s easy to pinpoint directional sounds, footsteps, and environmental details, while music has a clean, dynamic, and immersive presentation that makes you want to keep listening for hours. The build quality is excellent, and they feel like a product that offers tremendous value for the price. If you’re coming from the Zero: Red, I think you’ll feel right at home, with the added bonus of a more comfortable fit. Paired with a quality DAC, these IEMs truly shine and deliver an audio experience that’s hard to beat in this price range. Overall, these are among the best IEMs I’ve ever owned, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding performance for both gaming and music.

I love these IEMs they sound amazing and have great quality from the get go no need for eq or anything at all the design is really nice too. Only thing I noticed is that since these have little to no distortion you can easily not realize that you are playing anything too loud and cause hearing loss but just find ways to not let that happen and you will be fine. These are very refined and I am using this with a Modi 5 and Magni dac and amp and these sound great not entirely necessary for these but they give great headroom and have a better sound stage overall. The foam earbud tips all the way and the cables is nice and everything works well with it. I could not recommend a decently priced IEM more than this one. Great levels through the eq and the 5 ohm bass adapter is really cool if mine didn't have issue with only playing through one ear. I have emailed the Truthear support at one point but never got a response but not biggie for me I use Peace if I want to adjust any eq but the 5 ohm adapter basically doesn't exist anywhere else so good luck finding one if you lose or break it, you can't even buy one on the website which sucks but don't let that be the reason you don't buy these.

Being a Crinacle collab, sound quality is the first thing to talk about. The tuning and tone is interesting. I'm getting pretty warm bass and there's plenty of it. I did noticed a slight lack of low end resolution on some songs, but I'm comparing these to IEMs that are 2-3x the price. The fact that I have to use those to compare says a lot. Mids are slightly pulled back but not veiled at all. Plenty of detail in vocals and instruments in this range. Treble is forward, but not shouty or sibilant. Good control with a little bit of sparkle. Just enough to make things exciting. Soundstage is fine for an IEM, either average or slightly above average compared to other closed back IEMs, but that's not really saying a whole lot. On the other hand, imaging is quite good and there's also fantastic separation between instruments. That's more important for an IEM anyway. These are v-shaped so I wouldn't use them for any analytical listening or mixing, but the tuning is quite entertaining for enjoying music. Obviously, anything synthesized sounds great, but I don't think the mids are so pulled back that they make genres like classical or jazz sound unnatural. Now onto the non SQ things. I'm not sure who the bass boost adapter is for, as these have more than enough low end response, but who's gonna dock points for something that's included? It's there if you want it. The cable itself is mostly fine. It's a pretty standard twisted pair cable with good thickness. Out of the box, I think I'll have to mess around with the ear loops a decent amount to get it to fit around my ears properly. They're light enough to where this doesn't cause any discomfort, it just annoys me that they're not fitting as well as my other sets. Some heat and bending would do the trick. The housings are pretty chunky, but again these are pretty light so I didn't find it uncomfortable or bothersome. As with any headphones/IEMs, your YMMV when it comes to comfort and fit. I bought at launch for around $70 and these are worth the blind buy. I think they punch at a level of least double that price.

I've had these for about a year now, they're my daily driver at work. First, the bad: I ordered the version with the mic, and even thought the box was marked "with Mic" the cable did not actually have a microphone. The circumstances were such that I didn't need a microphone, so I didn't send it back (didn't even notice until months after.) The sound is good; I prefer the foam tips both for sound and comfort. These replaced some headphones that were already pretty good, so I didn't hear a night and day difference, but these have the balanced sound that I enjoy, as I listen to a variety of music. They are neither bass-heavy nor treble-heavy. I'm still using them, so overall I think these are quality headphones.

The TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero: BLUE is a bit of a mixed bag. Sound Quality: In terms of music, they are "OK" for the price. They offer good clarity and the bass separation is well-done. However, be careful with the silicone tips—the treble can get quite piercing and uncomfortable after a while. Cables: The standard cable is decent, but the version with the microphone feels like a step down in quality compared to the one without it. Build Quality & Durability (The Dealbreaker): This is where I had a major issue. The IEMs themselves are very lightweight, but the cable is surprisingly heavy. Because of this imbalance, the weight of the cable kept pulling the earphones off my desk. Eventually, they fell, and the shell shattered. The resin feels very thin and fragile for a product at this price point. If you’re looking for something durable, I wouldn't recommend these. They sound good, but the construction just didn't last.

Real buyer here, 24 years old and I play a lot of COD, also love listening to music everyday. So for 50-60 bucks, I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted to buy on a budget, I was boutta buy a $130 pair of IEMs, but i bought these instead, and per the reviews, I was curious if it lived up to the hype. It does. My music sounds clearer than my airpods. And I can game on COD, hearing the movement a lot better than my typical headphones I have on hand. 10/10. That being said, I haven’t really owned any professional grade headphones, and I’m no expert. Just an average joe. But I find these to be really really nice. The memory foam eartips seem to be super fragile tho. But I don’t use em anyway. They give you like 3-4 options of both types, as well as a Bass+ connection if you’re trying to experience that. The volume button works for my iphone so that’s great, just not for my PS5 controller. Not really a huge thing. but worth mentioning.

Fit is adjustable. There are multiple ear tips to choose from to suit your ears. I got the version with the mic, and the volume control does NOT work with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I tested both the Apple 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter and the JM6 Pro dongle—recommended by Crinacle on his channel—but the volume control was not functional. The color is like a gradient of the Blues and Reds from the previous IEM models. Build quality is very good—cables, IEMs, packaging, etc. The reason I’m giving this such a low rating: I believe either TRUTHEAR or Crinacle didn’t even test the mic quality. Nor did any other reviewers I’ve seen. I used both the Apple adapter and the JM6 Pro dongle, with no “bass booster” attached. I bought this because it was advertised as a gaming IEM with a mic… Nope. You’re essentially mute—when you crank up the gain, the other end hears only noise, not your voice. In the end, both the volume control and the mic are technically non-functional. It does come with a mic/volume control cable and a regular cable. So now, I am just using the regular cable. Honestly, if you already own the Blues or the Reds, you don’t need this. To me, they sound the same—and I’m no audiophile to notice the 0.01% difference in sound. Unless you have smaller ear canals, these might be more comfortable for you than the previous Blues and Reds IEMs.

I've bought these as a replacement for my Klipsch X11, which finally broke, and they are quite middle-of-the-road ok. * Sound quality: Acceptable, especially for the price, but lack some clarity * fit: too big for me. The openings of the headphones themselves are very big, especially compared to my (admittedly tiny) previous headphones, and with the tips, they feel noticeable in my ear canal and get uncomfortable after a while. I think in the long run, I would prefer headphones with smaller openings for a more comfortable fit. I also find the over-ear design of the wires works only moderately well for my ears: the curve is too big, so that they keep falling off my ears and then pull on the headphones, which isn't ideal. * durability: They seem quite durable. I'm not gentle on my headphones, and especially the cables have always been a weak point for me. I like that the headphones are detachable and so the cables can be replaced, which should extend their lives considerably. The cables themselves seem sturdy and durable, and so far I've not had an issue. They do occasionally tangle, but not as badly as other headphones I've had. Overall, would recommend unless you have small ears. For the price, they're quite good quality and durable.

For the price, these IEMs are honestly one of the best value purchases I've made. I use them for both music and gaming, and they perform really well in both areas. The sound quality is impressive — music feels clear and detailed, with a good balance that makes different genres enjoyable. For gaming, the imaging and separation are good enough to pick up footsteps, direction changes, and small details without needing an expensive headset. The detachable cable is a nice bonus, and the fit is comfortable enough for longer sessions. They are simple, lightweight, and don't feel like they need a lot of extra setup to sound good. They may not compete with much more expensive audio gear, but at this price point, it's hard to complain. If you want something affordable that works great for both gaming and everyday music listening, these are an easy recommendation.
