Doc Miller Thigh High Compression Socks 20-30mmHg

Fit is great, they stay up and the color is fun! I’ll defiantly buy again. I’ve tried thigh highs before and they wouldn’t stay up. No problem with these and they’re comfortable. I definitely recommend them!

Need these after breaking my knee & they worked great, although a bit hard to get on - but then they should be. They stayed up well. Fit was perfect. They washed up perfectly. I hope I won't need to use them again but I h ave them stored just in case.

Update after 2 months: I have since tried several other brands. All were essentially nylons with “compression” added on for marketing. No actual compression. So I returned to using these Doc Millers, except inside out because of the dots issue in the original review below. Out of necessity I ordered four more pairs since the compression is real. To my pleasant surprise I have been able to wear all of the new ones without issue. No red dot swellings at all. I cannot explain this, perhaps my original two were a bad batch. One additional update: hand wash or machine wash cold and air dry. I made the mistake of putting the originals in the dryer and they lost 50% of their compression strength. Moving from2 star to 4 star, much happier now. These were so close to being perfect: great fit, good quality, robust, and they even fit my 35” inseam legs. But the dots they use to secure the legging on the thigh to prevent sliding down (quite effectively) make these unwearable. As other reviewers have pictured, the “red dots” left behind on your thigh are real, and they take 3 days to go away from one wearing. Furthermore, they are not just unsightly: they are very rash-like. They itch and redden the area around them I had initially dismissed these reviews as I felt they perhaps did not wash these before wearing and were experiencing hove reactions. Not true - even after washing these were a major issue. I have resorted to using a separate thigh sleeve in conjunction with these, which was exactly what I was trying to stop having to do when I ordered these. Disappointing.

Durable, soft, high-quality, and well-made. The only thing that is a problem is that for those of us with magnificent thighs (and especially thighs that are much larger than our calves), the upper band, which is elastic backed with some kind of silicone that's bumpy to try to keep it in place, is deeply inadequate for keeping them in place. They suffer from both slumping and from the band flipping over, which makes them nigh-impossible to keep pulled up high enough to actually provide decent thigh compression in most clothing due to the difficulty of getting under your clothes and grabbing them to yank up. I would have tried a larger size despite my thigh circumference being at the lower end of the size I ordered, but anything larger would have meant not enough compression at the calves; they were already at the border of "too large" there for me. I guess my aspect ratio isn't what they were expecting! Vertical-wise, I am at the very low end of leg length (27" inseam) and it was a significant struggle to get them up enough to cover more than half my kneecap-to-thigh length, although that could also be a factor of the fabric trying to stretch around the thigh circumference. These would be a great choice for anyone whose thigh circumference to calf circumference is not as dramatic as mine, but for me they were just an annoyance. The quality of them means I'm giving them three stars anyway, but for my big-thighed siblings out there, this is not the one for you.

The Doc Miller compression socks provide the needed compression while my legs feel stronger and more flexible. They are quite durable. Have detached them and put them on quickly without a tear. Some of lesser quality with have a run in them when taking them off. They stay in place correctly.

These are Phenomenal!!! I am Type One Diabetic and have neuropathy. I’ve been trying a variety of compression gear. These thigh high compression socks not only are comfortable, but I INSTANTLY felt a sense on relief. I love the open toe, as my little piggies always get smooshed and sore from the closed toe. My swelling was 1000% reduced to the point where my varicose veins looked WAY LESS visible( literally thought it was looking my mind for a second). Size is great! Easy enough to put on It was tight, but I was swollen sooo I expected nothing less. The material is Amazing!!! I do not like a lot of these thinner socks, I have long nails and I also have cats so the material is important to me and these are AMAZING!!! Not too thick but these are not going to fray or run and I don’t think I’ll be able to puncture a whole with my nail like I’ve done to a few of the other brands I have… Very happy! I’ll be buying more!!

Sleeves fit perfect wire for 6 hrs no problem next day they kept falling down to knees wouldn’t stay up

On the first day, the elastic went down below the knees and started to pinch my leg

Comfortable, easy to put on and they do not fall down all other brands I have tried do not stay in place but these stay put and my leg feels great all day. Will buy again.

Nice socks I’m its fan all the time Sometimes the length of the pairs are different in size

These are great. My husband broke his leg, and has been using these as compression socks in his recovery. We bought two different brands at first, and this was the better brand of the two. Most importantly, they stay up. So he bought more of this brand.

a little too tight but i am wearing still the slide down on upper leg a bit ...but made well
