There are two batteries standard in the G4 that I have. They are the BA-400 (Li-lON) 14.5V, 3.5 Ampere Hour and the BA-408 (LiION) 14.5V, 6.5 Ampere Hour. **Q: Will these go bad if you dont install for 6 mth.?** A: The columns do only have a shelf life of about 6 months if they are not used. **Q: Is this genuine inogen? Would prefer seller answer only. Thank you.** A: Katherine, the manufacturer is shown as being Inogen. I have purchased this product and am well pleased. Especially like the price. **Q: where is the reset button when replacing my pillars? How often do these need replacing?** A: The machine will prompt you and direct you how to reset. As far as how often I replace them, I hate to say so but every six months and I only use my unit maybe 15 hrs per month, Inogen claims you only need to replace them every 1-2 years but I have not been so lucky.
