6/10/25 Update - changed score back to 4-star. I contacted Soundpeats customer service. They were very helpful trying to troubleshoot and remedy the issue. Per their instructions, I've tried charge cycling and it fixed the charging issue momentarily. After a day the discharging issues came back. Soundpeats ended up sending me a new pair (within two days!) that has been working perfectly since. Great customer service and a great product unless you get a one off. I'm still deducting one star because the phone app won't work without a data connection. 5/15/25 Update - changed score to 1-star down from 4-star: After using these earphones for about a month and a half—primarily while traveling—I’ve noticed significant issues with battery life. Now that I’m back to my daily routine, the problem is even more apparent. For example: - I fully charged them yesterday, and today, without any usage, the battery dropped to 70%. - After just *one hour* of Bluetooth music playback, the battery plummeted to 20%. At this point, I suspect my pair might be defective, but it also raises concerns about overall longevity. Unfortunately, returning them isn’t an option, which is disappointing given the poor performance. Original review: Comfort & Sound: These earphones are a joy to wear—super comfortable, and the open-ear design doesn’t sacrifice much of the sound quality (at least to my non-audiophile ears). Audiobooks and podcasts sound crystal clear, and phone calls are perfectly understandable, though the mic could be better. A few people mentioned I sound a bit muffled or distant, but no one struggled to hear me. Buttons Over Touch Controls: The physical buttons were the main reason I chose the Pop over the touch-only PearlClip, and I don’t regret it. Double- and triple-clicking is way easier with tactile feedback, and the app lets you fully customize every button—no accidental taps! Case & Charging Annoyances: The case isn't great—it’s slippery, awkward to open, and thicker than others I’ve used. The charging port being on the back instead of the bottom is a weird choice. It might seem nitpicky, but when you’re charging from a power bank in a backpack or pocket, a bottom port saves space and hassle. Battery Life: I will update my review later. App Love & Hate: The PeatsAudio app is surprisingly refined—customization is excellent, and features like dynamic EQ and movie/game mode are fantastic. But there’s a huge flaw: the app *requires a data connection* just to adjust settings. Since my signal at work is spotty, this drops the app’s usability to a 1/10 for me. Final Verdict: A great pair of open-ear buds with awesome comfort, sound, and button controls, held back by a *flawed app* and an somewhat annoying case. If Peats fixes the app’s offline access, these would be near-perfect for my needs. I bought these on sale for $30 and I plan on keeping them. I was not paid for my review.

In terms of sound. I don't really know what I expected tbh. The reviews make them seem like they have enough bass for like music and having some kind of power. For very low volume you can hear bass so as I watch my kids and cook dinner for them. I can hear them and my videos. So sound quality. I'm an audiophile and have their air pro 5 and air pro 5 pros as well as all the samsungs and a. Bunch of other brands lol. I have maybe 80 sets of earbuds and headphones. 😅 With that said. How do these sound. For the purpose. Listening to audiobooks or videos. Or movies they actually sound great. They aren't ideal for music though they don't have that full range. Lol. But they actually do have a semi acceptable soundstage. For the sale price. I'd say these are 100% worth it. Its kind of like my Makita air duster. Something you'd expect to never use. Ends up being one of your most used things. These might not sound great. But since they are comfortable and lightweight. I'll probably use these more often than my pros or pro pluses 😅. I have a big set for my PC. And unless it's for music I'll be using these I think.

These are great! For open ear, they sound great and are loud. Battery life is just as advertised and they charge fast. Price is also better than competitors. Also, they are well built and durable. I have dropped them multiple times and even dropped them into a full bucket of dirty water and had to wash them off with soap and water and they still work great. Will definitely buy my next ear buds from SoundPEATS.

Update 3: After using these earbuds for over a year, I decided to update my review. I now rate them 3 stars because the Bluetooth connection doesn't always disconnect from my phone when I put the earbuds back into the case, even after cleaning off skin oil. While wiping them may sometimes work, it's not reliable, so I have to repeatedly check my phone to ensure the Bluetooth is disconnected. This extra step is very inconvenient and can be frustrating, especially if the problem persists after multiple attempts. All three of my SoundPEATS earbuds experience this issue, which I believe is a design flaw. Update 2: The replacement earbuds also started experiencing the same issues after about a month. However, I figured out the cause. It is the body oil that covers the electrodes after workouts, making charging difficult. Since it is impractical to prevent the electrodes from contacting the skin, the solution is to wipe off the oil before reinserting the earbuds into the case. Now, it has become my habit to quickly wipe the earbuds on my clothes before putting them back in the case, and I rarely have the same problem anymore, even with the first set. While the solution works, I still believe SoundPEATS should improve the design of the charging mechanism, as I do not have the same problem with my earbuds from other brands. Update 1: Soundbeats contacted me and offered a replacement for the defective unit. The replacement functions without any problems. It appears that the previous issue was an isolated incident, so I changed my rating to 4 stars to acknowledge the good product and excellent customer service. I deducted one star to remind the company to enhance the charging mechanism, which I believe caused the failure in the previous set. Overall, I really like the product's performance, including the sound quality, volume, convenience, and long battery life (when it is properly charged). The Bluetooth connection may temporarily drop when I turn around, but it reconnects automatically, allowing my music to continue without any intervention from me, so it’s not a major concern. Once again, I never had to worry about the buds falling out of my ears during my workouts. Highly recommend! Original: I bought the PearlClip Pro about two months ago and liked it a lot, so I ordered this Pop Clip for exercises. It worked well at first. The audio quality is not as good as the PearlClip Pro, but it is adequate for my intended uses. It stays on during movement. However, a main issue started to develop right after I passed the return window: the buds do not disconnect from the phone after I put them back in the case. I did not realize that until I found there was no sound from my phone. I could still disconnect them if I picked them up from the case and put them back a few times. The more frustrating issue, however, appeared yesterday when I was trying to use them, and I discovered that one of them was completely out of battery while the other one was 100% charged. I believe the problem stems from their inability to shut off or disconnect from the Bluetooth. It is a nightmare, as you never know if they are properly charged when you need them. I hope this is just an isolated case and that Soundpeats is willing to fix my issue. I have only had them for a month and a half!

I've been on a journey to find a set of budget (<$100) clip-on open ear headphones that work for me, and I think this is the one! I feel like this new niche of headphone is on the rise as we're looking for balance between good sound and situational awareness for those of us who are active or working while simultaneously need to have audio access to the environment for safety or communication reasons. So far I've tried a few of the sub-$100 brands recommended to me by Amazon (i.e. Tozo, Baseus, Monster, truefree, etc. and some other brands I'd rather not mention, lol). Indeed preferences are subjective, but I finally settled on this one because I was blown away by the out-of-box sound quality (crisp details, soundstage, and as much bass one can expect from open-ears), comfort (the feeling of having nothing pinching!), and quick and consistent connectivity that I've had so far (no skips!). After pairing, the buds connect within seconds after taking them out from the case. Physical button with resounding click is very appreciated for good haptic feedback on commands. The bridge spring coated with rubber/silicone(?) gives good grip to the earpieces when taking them out of the case and adjusting them on the ears. My only gripe about the design is that the case is rather hard to open if my hands are extremely dry and cannot get a grip on the hinge (the opening is on a slant). The whole thing has slipped and flown completely out of my hands a couple times while trying to open it. Maybe add a indent for grip to the opening? Not a deal breaker though.

Update: One ear bud battery is entirely dead after less than 3 months. Disappointing. Maybe I got a bad one, but buyer beware. Liked - open format allows hearing conversation (as long as volume is reasonably low) & traffic - sound quality is very good for normal daily use, including reasonable bass which is often a complaint for open earbuds. for reference I have a number of high end headphones, while these are not that, I'm very happy with these for daily /casual use. - connectivity is good and fairly reliable in my experience (subject to the usual Bluetooth limitations) Do not like: - positioning is important. can quickly go from very comfortable to very uncomfortable depending upon the position. fortunately a little adjustment typically relieves the pressure - in the pair that I received the right earbud has approximately 1 hour battery life after about 2 months of use. this is unacceptable. this is the sole reason for the poor review. If the reliability / disability was better these would easily be a four or five star earbud for me (for this type of IEM and price range)

They are really helpful for if you want to listen to music and talk to someone at the same time, because they don't go into your ear. It's super easy to connect and disconnect from devices, I'd say the connecting and disconnecting part is like every other earbud. They fit and hook around ears easily, fitting both tweens and adults pretty snuggly. The design is cool, the earbuds are not that noticeable when wearing them if you have hair that flows at least to your shoulder. The battery runs for a reasonable amount of time, and it never runs out too fast or slow. Since the little buds don't go in your ear, the sound quality might not be as loud or clear if that's what you're looking for. If this is what you are looking for, I recommend.

My favorite earbuds in the past were the SoundPEATS TrueAir2 because of the price, the sound, and the slim profile of the earbuds. The only annoying thing about those earbuds were the touch controls and the case (a rounded square which basically felt the same from all angles and was impossible to open on the first try without looking at it). The SoundPEATS Pop Clips solve those two annoyances with physical buttons and an oval pill shaped case. I've had these for about a week and this is what I've observed. Pros: - PHYSICAL BUTTONS (soooo much better than touch controls). - Good balanced sound (decent bass, clear mids and highs). - Lightweight and comfortable to wear. - Value for the price. Cons: - Terrible mic placement for calls (the mic is on the battery end of the clip which is behind your ear) and sounds like you're underwater. - Depending on your ear size/shape, this type of earbud may make your ears stick out like Dumbo and also kind of looks like you're wearing earrings. - App could be better (difficult to configure custom EQ as the sliders don't slide). - Weird echo-y voice announcements for power on and connection.

This is my 6th pair of Soundpeats. I have bought various configurations through the years to suit different uses. Have always been reliable, pair easily, long battery life, comfortable, sound very good for the price. I see no need to spend extra on more expensive brands

J'adore. Je ne connaissais pas ce type d'écouteurs mais franchement ils sont super pour mes oreilles qui ne supportent rien dans le conduit sous peine d’ecxéma. Le son est vraiment bon et on peut le régler aussi sur l'application (PeatsAudio). J'apprécie vraiment qu'il y ai des boutons de sélection plutôt que du tactile sur les écouteurs, cela évite les demandes intempestives et non voulues par exemple lorsque l'on remet une mèche de cheveux derrière l'oreille... J'aime aussi le multipoint : je peux connecter mon mac et mon smartphone (android) en même temps, donc recevoir et répondre à un appel pendant que je travaille. L'application est pratique, quelques préréglages d'égaliseurs qui pour ma part me suffisent. Il y a aussi la possibilité d'adapter un égaliseur en fonction de son audition et c'est pas top mal mais pourrait être mieux. Petit plus pratique : on peut inverser les écouteurs sur les oreilles et avoir ainsi le bouton de sélection sur le haut ou le bas suivant nos préférences. S'adaptent bien à mes oreilles et une fois mis je ne les sent plus. Pas essayé en extérieur avec bruit de ville mais ils sont assez étanches. En intérieur, les appels téléphoniques sont plutôt bon : mon interlocuteur m'entend bien et idem de mon côté. Bref je les adore et je ne les quittent plus.

Słuchawki bardzo fajne, nie wypadają z ucha. Etui wygodne. Apka je wykrywa, pokazuje stan naładowania baterii itd. Super opcją jest że nie trzeba zwracać uwagi która jest prawa a która lewa, same się synchronizują w etui, a każda słuchawka pasuje do każdego ucha. Przycisk fizyczny można dowolnie skonfigurować, jest duuużo bardziej wygodny niż te wszystkie dotykowe. Póki co po kilku użyciach jestem zadowolony. Używam je z telefonem na Android 14 oraz z laptopami na Win 10/11. Niestety ostatnio podrożały. Ja płaciłem 135zł - więcej niż 150zł mimo tych zalet to bym nie dał.
