It seems obvious that most people will mount this fan at a height of about 5 feet. It is also reasonable to assume that at some point the remote might be missing. So why are the control buttons on the top side of the fan? Why aren't they located under the housing where they are more easily reachable. I know that if the remote stops operating that the fan will be useless to me because of the height at which I had to place it. Additionally, I am afraid to reposition the vertical tilt, it is so hard to move I fear I will rip it off the wall. If this fan operates without problems for a few years I will have forgotten these issues and think I made a great purchase. However, if the remote stops working I will be curing myself for keeping this product.
