Twelve South AirFly Pro 2, Bluetooth Adapter, Pair 2 AirPods, White

I don’t usually get this excited about tech accessories, but the AirFly Pro 2 seriously blew me away. I used it recently on a 12-hour Delta flight, and I can honestly say it made the entire experience so much better. This little device is truly a game changer for anyone who flies and wants to use their own wireless earbuds instead of those uncomfortable airline headphones. Setup was incredibly easy — just plug the AirFly into the headphone jack of the in-flight entertainment screen, press the button to pair, and within seconds my Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) were connected. No glitches, no weird delay in sound, and the audio came through crystal clear. Honestly, it even sounded better than I expected. I watched a few movies and streamed some music, and there were zero issues the entire time. One of the best features is that you can connect two sets of earbuds at the same time. I was able to pair mine and my travel companion’s, and we both listened to the same movie together — totally wire-free. It made sharing the experience so much easier and more fun, without having to deal with splitter cables or one-ear listening. The battery life is also amazing. The AirFly was fully charged before the flight and lasted the entire 12 hours without needing a top-up. That gave me complete peace of mind, knowing I wouldn’t have to fuss with charging it mid-flight. Plus, it’s super compact and sleek — it took up virtually no space in my bag and is now a permanent part of my travel gear. If you travel at all, especially on long flights, I can’t recommend the AirFly Pro 2 enough. It’s absolutely worth the price, and once you use it, you’ll wonder how you ever traveled without it. Huge thanks to the creators for making such a thoughtful, high-quality product. Flying just got way more comfortable.

Easy to use! I have a 160G classic ipod that I prefer to use when I travel by airplane. No need for wifi, 36 hrs battery life and thousands of songs. Least favorite thing is the use of headphones with auxiliary end. The use of AirFly completely changed this! I was able to connect my Flex Beats bluetooth! No issues, great sound without any disconnections. The feature to have a second person also connect was nice. I purchased a small case that holds the iPod and the AirFly together. I had them connected together and zipped it most the way. Put in my carry on and was set for travel. So glad to have found this!

An absolute must for airplanes these days. On medium or long haul flights these are absolutely a must-have. I have two sets, one for me and one for my wife. They are so simple to use, and the battery life is great. Never had any connectivity issues issues, and they are very unobtrusive when hooked up. They can be charged from the aircraft power, make sure that you have a USB-A to C cable, since most commercial aircraft still only have USB A ports at the seats. Zero degredation of sound quality, no noticeable lag or latentcy when in use. The AirFly is small, and fits easily into a headphone case or a briefcase or purse pocket.

Used this for a long overseas trip and appreciated being able to not have a cord to deal with while flying a long distance. The connection process was a bit annoying, especially when I wanted to shift from my noise cancelling headphones to my airpods but other than that, the process was easy. The size of the unit is perfect and doesn't get in the way while people are moving around and the battery lasted for a full 12 hour flight.

Love our bluetooth adapters by AirFly. They work great both transmitting and receiving. We now have 3 of them.

I purchased this adapter to allow me to hear my ipod nano which isnt Bluetooth enabled to be used with my ear buds. The connection was simple and sound quality very clear. I plan to use this when I fly to listen to movies on my flights. This will be advantageous because my wired airplugs are cumbersome when eating or resting on a flight. I enjoy the compact size and easy method to recharge the battery. As an additional perk, a second ear buds set can connect to share the device. I am happy with the purchase. The only exception would be that I cannot connect the device to my Bluetooth car Bluetooth.

I found it hard to connect and keep connected. It also allows for multiple AirPods to connect and I was able to do this once but it disconnected half way through the flight. I love the idea and I’m going to keep trying but overall not very functional.

I use Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling headphones when I fly. When I purchased those headphones; I also ordered the AirFly Pro to use so I don't have to use the wired connection during my flights. That AirFly Pro has served me well, and I have been using it on flights for over a year without any issues. I saw the AirFly 2 Pro had come out, there was nothing wrong with my original AirFly Pro; but out of pure vanity, I ordered the AirFly 2 Pro in "Coastal Blue" because it matches the "Lunar Blue" of my Bose Headphones. I received them today and they look like a matching accessory that came with my Bose headphones. I fully charged them and started the process of pairing the new AirFly 2 with my Bose headphones and started testing them. The first thing I noticed was that the audio was out of sync with the video. I thought it might be my imagination, or some latency with the computer I was using; so, I disconnected the AirFly 2 and connected my original AirFly Pro to the same computer, watched the same segment of the video.... no delay at all with my original AirFly Pros, those AirFly Pro video/audio was synced perfectly. I tried a few other YouTube videos, switching back and forth to the AirFly Pro and AirFly Pro 2; and there is no doubt, the Pro 2 has a noticeable audio delay. I even watched segments of a action movie, with the Pro 2 the sound of gunshots came after the muzzle blast in the movie; so much that it distracts from the film. I really liked the improvements they made; I like the on/off switch compared to the on/off button on the original.... I hate having to hold the switch and wait for the indicator lights to make sure the AirFly Pro is turned off as well as having to hold the button to wait for it to power on.... the switch gives you the ability to turn the Pro 2 on and off instantly. But, this audio delay issue is a deal breaker.... the Pro 2's are getting returned and I will continue to use my original AirFly Pro. I tried to see if maybe my Bose headphones needed an update with the app; I though maybe there was a new codec in the Pro 2's that maybe had not made it to my Bose headphones yet.... but nothing. There is no setting I can change, absolutely nothing I can do to adjust the audio delay. I hate to say it, but the new Pro 2 is not as good as the original AirFly Pro.

Der AirFly Pro 2 ist auf Reisen absolut genial und hat den Flugkomfort komplett verändert. Die Verbindung mit den eigenen Bluetooth-Kopfhörern im Flugzeug funktioniert kinderleicht und blitzschnell. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man sogar zwei Kopfhörer gleichzeitig koppeln kann – perfekt, wenn man zu zweit einen Film schauen möchte. Die Tonübertragung läuft stabil und ohne nennenswerte Latenz. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die sich kabellos durchs Entertainment-Programm im Flieger bewegen wollen!

Esto es simplemente espectacular! Si vas a hacer un viaje de avión largo, te interesa! Porque las compañías aereas dan unos auriculares bastante cutres, y si pretendes escuchar algo, es imposible, Además, tienes el zumbido del motor dándolo todo... Este dispositivo es la solución. Puedes usar tus auriculares Bluetooth en el avión. Te cuento: El AirFly Pro 2 es un dispositivo pequeño. En un extremo tiene un conector minijack para conectar a la mayoría de pantallas de avión. En los laterales tres botones: encender/apagar, y emparejar cada uno de los auriculares Bluetooth (permite emparejar hasta 2, lo cual es fabuloso para poder compartir contenido con tu acompañante). Al encenderlo, hay que mantener pulsado durante unos segundos cada uno de los botones de emparejamiento, hasta que el led lo indica. Y a continuación, emparejar los auriculares (eso depende de cada marca/modelo). Para quien esté preocupado, los Airpods Pro 2 y 3 se emparejan perfectamente. Hay que colocar los auriculares en la funda, abrirla y con la funda abierta dar tres toques con el dedo en la parte delantera (donde está el led). Los auriculares se emparejarán automáticamente con el AirFly Pro. Una vez emparejado, todo perfecto, a disfrutar. Para mi, importantísimo poder seguir disfrutando de la cancelación de sonido. A destacar: cuando no se usa durante un rato, el dispositivo se auto suspende (apagar no porque requiere un botón físico). La batería dura muchísimo! Hice dos viajes de 9h y no tuve que cargar la batería. Se indica que dura más de 20 horas. En cualquier caso, se puede cargar mediante un cable USB-C. Añado que se incluye una fundita de tela para guardarlo. Sin duda, un invento que hace tu viaje más llevadero! Totalmente recomendable!!

飛行機でAirPodsを使いたい！ってずっと思ってて、やっとこれを買いました。 使い方はすごくシンプルで、機内の3.5mmジャックに差してAirPodsとペアリングするだけ。最初の設定も全然難しくなくて、説明書なしでも直感でできちゃうくらい。接続が安定してて、映画を見てる途中で途切れることも今のところ一度もないです。 2台同時接続できるのも地味にうれしくて、友達と隣の席になったとき一緒に同じ映画を見られるの、なんかちょっとテンション上がりました笑。 気になるのはお値段がそこそこするところと、充電がLightningなのが少し古く感じるくらい。あとは特に不満なし！ 新幹線や映画館のレンタルイヤホンでも使えるので、旅行好きな人には本当におすすめです。ポーチにさっと入るサイズなのも◎。毎回の旅行に必ず持っていくようになりました。
