I have three reversing loops on my layout and all three reversers work perfectly every time. You don't even know they are there and neither do the locomotives. The switching is very fast and here is no delay or pause has the locomotives move to and from the track controlled by this circuit. There is a small adjusting screw that you might have to use to set the trip conditions for your layout. It comes with very easy to follow instructions for making this adjustment.
