It's a cable
It works, no dropouts or anything. Does exactly what a cable should do. The lock protectors are a plus if you're pulling it back through a hole or something.

Perfect for a long run in my office
I used this to connect 2 switches in my office. I have an exterior wall that is concrete and needed to get a run there, but needed to be tucked near the baseboard. It was a little longer than I needed but this doesn't affect the review. Well built cable and the throughput speed has been great and didn't see any degradation issues between moving data from my computer to my NAS.

Standard RJ45 cable with no certifications
This review is for Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 25ft from MEIPEK. Proper testing of cable speeds requires dedicated and somewhat expensive equipment if not in the field of network optimization, or reliance on certifications from third-parties. Certified cables are usually at a different price point per foot. This cable does not have any certifications and it is made for home use based on the ad that includes references to X-box and SmartTVs. It does transfer data at speeds of at least a CAT6 so, I guess it does what it is supposed to do. It is a round cable made for indoor use.

Well-built, fast cable
I replaced the CAT5 cable from my Starlink to my Gigabit router with this. The router had been reporting the connection as 100Mbps. With this cable it immediately reported the connection as 1Gbps. Of course that doesn't mean I actually can transfer data faster than it comes in, but I can notice generally faster internet since I installed this. It also means that I am ready for any upgrades to faster internet in the future without the need to replace this cable. It is a physically well-built cable.

speedy internet cable
My internet was being a bit slow, which was especially annoying when I was trying to play some online gamesโso I decided to try a new ethernet cable. This cable was the perfect length for what I needed; it was easy to plug in, and, most importantly, it works. Iโve noticed a significant improvement in my internet speed, particularly when gaming; I havenโt had any lag or dropouts since I started using it. I also like that itโs shielded, which I assume means itโs more durable. ๐ฏ Iโm not the most tech-savvy person, but this was definitely a simple and effective upgrade; it was worth it.

Impressive upgrade
I've upgraded my home networking cables from a cat 5 to this cable cat 7 and it has maximized my network speed. Even though cat 7, in the USA, is not an officially recognized standard, it works just fine. If you are looking at running a shielded cable, don't forget to use a shielded keystone also. It is backwards compatible but you lose some of the shielded benefits if you don't.

Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 25ft
I took this cable to connect my existing router with the Bell fiber gateway. I know that even Cat 6 would hold a heavy load very well given relatively short distance and minimal interference, but I liked the idea of having Cat 7 for futureproofing. Especially because I plan to upgrade to a prosumer router with 10 gig LAN which is something that I've been looking for a while but itโs still very expensive. Cable is 5.8 mm thick which is slightly more than typical Cat 5 / 6 cables and the reason is because Cat 7 ensures additional individual shielding protection for each of 4 wire pairs. As such it is much more resilient to any interference. That results in less packed droppage and provides higher speeds. To be more specific: * Cat 6 cables supports 250 MHz frequencies which can carry up to 10 Gbps of data * Cat 7 cables support 600 MHz frequencies and can go beyond 10 gigs, all the way up to 40 Gbps theoretical speed. This is definitely overkill for home usage but if you're an enthusiast like I am and have some sort of home lab, then this kind of cable is definitely something you should consider. Connectors with metal sleeves are standard for Cat 7 and they look very well made on this cable. As expected, testing with my limited equipment at this point didnโt move the needle but the cable performed impeccably. Conclusion: high quality Cat 7 cable with reasonable price (13.67$ at a time of order) Final verdict: 5 stars

Seems like a good quality cable and works well
Pros: - The quality of the cable seems quite good. The cable is thick and sturdy. It has plated connectors that also click into place nicely. It has adequate strain relief on the ends so it will hold up better to wear and tear. - Works great at gigabit speeds in my tested. A Cat 7 cable is overkill for this speed but it's all I needed it for. My connection worked perfect and had no noticeably lag or packet loss. - The length at 25 ft is perfect for longer temporary runs like out through a window and to a neighbour, or across the house to connect your gaming console. Cons: - None. Current title: Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 25ft, High Speed Cat 7 Shielded Internet Network Cable, SFTP Cat 7 RJ45 LAN Patch Cable for Router, Gaming, Modem My rating system: 5 stars = performs as expected, 4 stars = small flaws, 3 stars = major flaws, 2 stars = barely usable, 1 star = trash

Feels like a heavy duty Ethernet cable
Without destroying the cable it's difficult to verify the cable specs claimed by the manufacturer. Overall it feels like a good quality cable. The printing on the outer sheath reads: CAT 7 SFTP 4PR/24AWG GVERIFIED TO PVC ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B 249M This aligns with good quality CAT 7 I've used in other projects. The RJ45 plugs are metal shielded and if you roll the cable between your fingers you can definitely hear the braided shielding underneath. What I don't like about this cable is the rigidity of the anti-snag boots. Having run thousands of patch cables in my lifetime I pity the network tech who has to use this type of cable assembly in volume. There is too much resistance to compress the RJ45 plug release, and in a tight space I find this type of plug VERY frustrating. Same for the back of a server rack where you don't have much space to access the NIC on a densely-packed system. Still, this cable seems heavy duty so I would still recommend it.
