Jabra Talk 45 Bluetooth Headset for High Definition Hands-Free Calls with Dual Mic Noise Cancellation, 1-Touch Voice Activation and Streaming Multimedia

This little earpiece.... and I do mean little... is the best single ear headphone microphone I've owned. I'm on calls most of the day every day. The battery lasts between 4-5 hours. But recharges very quickly. I find I can get through an 8 hr day fine if its charged full in the mornings and I have even just a few minutes between each call to plug it in. Sound quality on both sides is very clear. I love it has the ability to recognize loud background noise, and increases the volume in your ear automatically. There are times I've been on a call (muted), making coffee, and the ear piece automatically adjusts accordingly as the machine gets louder. Also does a great job with noise cancelation on the other end. My coworkers have very rarely heard anything other than my voice. And as a digital nomad, my background can get noisy. It is very small though. I'm glad the ear pieces are orange because this would have been lost the day I got it. Fits well in my ear, and I like the clear ear wrap piece isn't necessary when using the rubber orange inner ear attachments. Set up was a breeze too. Went from box to use in less than 2 minutes. All in all, 10/10 highly recommend.

I Love this earpiece. I did a lot of research I had purchased three others and returned them. This has everything I need for what I was looking for - I can use two phones at the same time - The caller is announced with either the number and the name, if it's in my contacts - decent noise cancellation - stays in my ear doesn't fall out. That is something I've had trouble with while using many types of earphones- this one is a really good fit. It hooks over the ear and also has the rubber piece that goes slightly into the ear - I can also listen to my Podcasts. It is very clear and no complaints at all using it for this function. I was a little concerned and thought I would have to have double ear pieces for that but I can hear music and podcasts with no issues - I tap on the earpiece and it tells me how many phones are connected and how much battery life is left. Easy to access this info. - charges very quickly. This was important to me because I use this a lot for work and I need to have the earpiece charge sometimes at short notice - it says it lasts about 5 1/2 -six hours I believe. I don't know If that is accurate or not, I have not counted up the hours during talk time usage Though I Have not had a problem with this at all. I usually just charge it in the morning. I actually don't like noise cancelling. I like to hear my surroundings a little bit. This thing is the perfect balance of quality and cost. I wanted a simple mono, in ear, non-noise cancelling earpiece that goes in my ear but doesn't deep throat probe my ear like all the newer ones. The ones that seal off my ear make me feel imbalanced, make my voice sound weird and get that constant depressurization sound in my head and ears. This guy is perfect. It says it has sound cancelling tech but at least the rubber piece that fits in your ear doesn't seal it off so you get a little ambient sound out of the same ear. I work outside a lot and I feel like I need to be aware of my surroundings. The sound is better than the Plantronics one that I had for years and that one was beloved. The sound of my voice for the caller is better per my wife. It is easy to use and set up out of the box. It is light enough that you do not have to use the over the ear plastic piece at all. Love it! ** After having this for a couple months I've discovered two cons. One being that it has usb-c to charge. It's really hard to plug in while I'm driving or in the dark. And two, I wish it had a charging cradle. I work for 14 hrs and the charge lasts 6 hrs. So I dropped it down to 4 stars.

This is the first Bluetooth headset I've owned (other than bluetooth earphones I use for the gym). I did some research and read that the Talk 45 is an updated version of the Jabra Stealth model. I'm using it with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and mainly use it while driving. The features are really impressive- after installing the Jabra Assist app, you have the option of having it read your text messages out loud to you, as well as any emails. There's also an option to find your headset should you misplace it, but I haven't used that yet. It announces incoming callers that are on my contact list (I haven't had an experience with unknown callers while using it yet, not sure if it will tell me the ph # or just alert to an incoming call). Its really easy to connect with a contact, by holding down the button it activates Google Assistant and I can either call or text my contact. I have it paired with my phone so that as soon as it turns on, it puts my phone in "driving mode", which sends an automatic reply text to any incoming text message, indicating that I'm on the road and I'll get back to that person whenever possible. I find this handy because should I need to reply to an important text, I can, otherwise the message can wait until I'm not driving. It notifies you about the battery life, but that is also displayed through the Jabra app. As far as battery life you get 6 hours from one full charge. The battery works really really well, but keep in mind I mainly use it when I'm driving so I don't stay on it for hours at a time. It's super light weight, and I can change it from ear to ear by swapping out the red earpiece. One thing to note is that on the Sellers picture, the 4th one that shows everything it comes with is wrong. The picture shows 3 black ear gels in different sizes... it doesn't come with that. You get 2 over the ear plastic pieces (small /large), and one red earbud piece that goes along with the over-ear piece, and 2 rubber red "in ear hooks" one for Left and one for Right, a long with a car charger adapter and a charging cable. Overall I'm VERY satisfied with this this earpiece. I highly recommend it.

This was a very dysfunctional earpiece for me in the 3 months I've used it. I rarely take time to write reviews, leave alone negative reviews, but I wanted to warn others who may have high hopes for this one. It would constantly connect and disconnect from the phone for me (RANDOMLY) and to rub it in, would announce the event, disrupting my mind space and ability to hear things with its patter. I could not rely on it to connect when I needed to make a call, nor be connected or remain connected when a call came in. The click to pickup would rarely work and didn't seem particularly responsive nor reliable. The click to end would work all too well at the wrong times, even when the actual call audio wasn't coming through the earpiece. I constantly felt like the evil little thing was messing with me for fun. Connecting and disconnecting it from my computer for video calls was a nightmare. I would have to first turn off bluetooth on my phone to ensure that it was free, and then regularly I would have to erase it from the list of bluetooth devices and then stop and re-start bluetooth on my computer and add the device from scratch, long pressing to activate bluetooth finding / searching to get it connected. And while I was stressfully trying to get set up for video calls and hear what the others were saying, the earpiece would be busy telling me that it was disconnected or connected. The announcements were so frequent that it became mostly meaningless noise. The design of the earclip was also painful because to switch ears, you have to remove the orange ear bud, slip the ring off and flip it etc. Not quick. But necessary due to constant discomfort. It doesn't have a subtle profile on the ear either and sticks out . The positives are that it has a mute button on the earpiece itself, which can be a big deal if you're on calls away from your phone and that the voice quality was excellent, with clear reception for the other person and good, clear and LOUD audio for you. I can give 2 stars for this basic goodness alone because there are many earpieces out there that can't even get this right. It's charge lasted well and I never had a problem with the charging cable, mechanics of inserting the micro usb charging pin etc. On and off button was also a clean toggle & highly haptic. The presence of the mute button (not super well placed though) was made up for by the lack of volume buttons and the inability to pause music or audio books with a button click. All in all, I am so desperate to get back to the Plantronics E50. Curses to this pandemic and global shipping and availability that I cannot find it anywhere. That Plantronics piece is worth its weight in gold, although I'm fearful that after the merger (?) between Plantronics and Poly, this earpiece will be back costing that much.

UPDATE: This lasted just one month more than a year, now it's volume is too low to hear and I need to replace it. I have taken great care of it and am careful with all my electronics. The old Stealth model that preceded this one easily lasted me 4 years, and was excellent for sound and noise canceling, even while driving in my convertible with the top down. Hope fully Jabra will warranty this but I will probably switch to another earpiece from someone else, because at this price it's just not as good as it used to be. I also had issues with the 'auto-answer' and accidentally answered calls I didn't want to. never happened with the old one. OLD REVIEW: I would think it would be better than the older model 'Stealth'. I haven't seen any improvement, and actually the battery needs to be charged much sooner even on standby. pretty expensive at $70. i would still recommend Jabra but was hoping for better noise cancellation and features for newer model. just can't see a reason to upgrade unless your old 'Stealth' dies like mine did. This is the best for me in the Jabra lineup, much better sound quality and volume than the lower priced models.

I've been using Jabra Bluetooth headsets for many years. For the past several years, I had Jabra's predecessor to the Talk 45 (I forgot what it was called, but looks and functions identically). It has worked incredibly well, until I forgot it in a shirt pocket and it went through the washing machine and dryer. Surprisingly, it still worked afterwards, but won't hold a charge. I ordered the new Talk 45 to replace my old damaged headset. It worked great at first, but after about a month, it started having problems where it would power cycle itself (perhaps a faulty switch?). I contacted Jabra Support (as linked from Amazon). Their tech support was great. I told them that I had already tried the common troubleshooting steps, including resetting the unit and updating the firmware, with no luck. They shipped out a replacement unit that arrived within a few days, despite the potential warehousing slowdowns due to COVID-19 -- I was prepared to wait several weeks or even months, understanding the situation, but was pleasantly surprised when the replacement arrived on my doorstep within a few days. As for the quality of the device itself, aside from this fluke issue I had, this headset had been incredibly reliable and comfortable. I keep it in my shirt pocket all day, every day, and pull it out for anything longer than just a quick call. I love that it has a mechanical switch that I can confidently turn off and not accidentally call someone. I also really like the mute button with an audible tone every couple of seconds to let you know you're muted. It does great accepting Google voice commands. Overall, I am very happy with the unit, so much that I bought an identical replacement for the unit I damaged in the wash. Nicely done, Jabra! Great products and great service!

As in the headline, the electronic performance is as advertised and quite good. Where this Jabra falls down for me is as follows: One - The ear hook is annoyingly loose and so the actual ear piece constantly shifts. As a result, I am unable to put it on my ear with one hand. I have to use both hands - very inconvenient, not very safe. Two- I don't believe there is a way to adjust the volume on the earpiece so I have to go to the phone to do that - not always convenient. I could be wrong about that. Lastly, the ear gel constantly falls off. If I put it in a coat pocket the ear hook also falls off and I have to reassemble it trying to answer a call. I've had to search on the parking lot pavement in the dark more than once to find the pieces. It is so inconvenient I rarely use it. It is disappointing and frustrating to have paid ~ $75 and it gives so much trouble, It is not of the same design and real-life durability of previous Jabra products I have purchased. I am sorry to leave two stars but since the product is essentially unusable because of design and manufacturing, I don't believe it merits higher rating only for appearance.

I have used most of the Jabra products including the Speak 510 and 710 as well as their Elite series. in respect to single ear models, I had several Jabra Motion earpieces which had a weak point with the moveable mic piece detaching from the body of the unit and unrepairable. However the sound quality was perfect and each lasted around 3 years with daily use so I'm not complaining. I was somewhat skeptical about the talk 45 price point being almost a third of the latter which surprised me with equal sound quality and functionality. The only draw back was the battery life doesn't seem quite as long as the Motion but was sufficient for my needs. Overall excellent option and price.

Voice Quality sounds as if we are speaking from a distance. Jabra used to be the best when I had purchased earlier. Battery backup is good however.

Trabajo vía remota y a veces tengo que salir de casa y tomar llamadas en el auto o caminando, buscaba un headset que pudiera escuchar claramente lo que me dicen además de que al hablar no se escuchara tanto ruido de fondo. La cancelación de ruido funciona excelente, hice una prueba poniéndome junto al estéreo mientras alguien más escuchaba la llamada y me oían fuerte y claro sin el sonido de fondo, en cuanto a volumen si se quedan un poquito cortos si estás en un lugar demasiado ruidoso pero creo que eso todos. Comparé con unos plantronics de la misma gama y resultaron mejores, solamente si vas a invertir un poco más recomendaría ahí si plantronics. No recomiendo ningún jabra talk debajo de éste la verdad, hablando de gama media los considero ideales. Son pequeños y cómodos solo, ojo, delicados no traen cajita para transportar pero yo compré una para audífonos y le quedó ideal para traerlos en la bolsa sin que se dañen. Conectan rapidísimo al bluetooth por lo cuál si tienes que contestar una llamada de emergencia, no decepcionan, tengo otros audífonos sony c 310 y son más rápidos para conectar. Para el uso que les doy de video conferencia son muy buenos, para estar trabajando aún cuándo se estén haciendo otras actividades.

I bought this product to connect to my laptop during online meetings. My previous bluetooth headset Plantronics V5200 is an excellent choice wiith triple mic noise cancellation but my only concern was that it frequently went into standby and my computer would switch audio devices. Thankfully Jabra headset did not do that and stays connected to my laptop. The noise cancellation is not as good as Plantronics but is good enough for my use. The headset itself is loud enough and comfortable to use. The manual was crap and did not have instructions on how to pair multiple devices or anything. You need to read online to know features of the headset
