Alberto Balsam Ultra Strong Gel, 200 ml

I’ve tried plenty of budget hair gels over the years, and this Alberto Balsam Ultra Strong Gel is one I keep coming back to. It gives a genuinely strong hold without making your hair feel rock‑hard or flaky, which is surprisingly rare at this price point.The texture is easy to work with — not sticky, not greasy — and it spreads evenly through the hair. Once it sets, it keeps everything in place throughout the day, even in damp weather. The light lavender scent is subtle and clean, not overpowering at all.Another thing I appreciate is that it washes out easily with no residue left behind. For everyday styling, it’s reliable, affordable, and does exactly what it promises. A great little product to have on hand.

If using curl custard/fluid/cream etc that has a lot of slip or weight, refresh your hair with a spray of water (I have a thing of Avène Eau Thermale for this) and then apply the gel. I think it just kind of slides around and does nothing otherwise.Just as a note my hair is like 3A/3B. I shampoo twice as my area has very hard water, condition, use a masque and occasionally some pre shampoo treatment. After my shower routine I'd use a curl custard, this gel, and then diffuse & hair spray.Seriously this works AMAZING with a diffuser. I prefer a crunchy curl but if I ever wanted to loosen it up, this responds v. well to that! Hoping it stays cheap forever

Cheap does the job nice texture hold hair in place..non greasiness .. can last all day., I got strength 4 good hold

Ho acquistato il gel convinto della sua forte tenuta,ma che in realtà tale non è…La consistenza è molto gelatinosa e al contatto con le mani si trasforma praticamente in acqua.Bisogna metterne molto per avere un briciolo di tenuta sui capelli,Ma questo rende il risultato finale appesantito per la quantità di prodotto.L’effetto risulta bagnato quindi, ma bisogna asciugarli col phon per poterli modellare un po’..Non consiglio quindi questo gel a chi cerca una tenuta forte e con poco prodotto
