Pure garbage charcoal
The worst garbage charcoal I ever used. Had 2 bags of it. Never burns consistently, burns spotty. Surprisingly almost no heat produced. I have to use half bag to look a set of meat patties. Insane how terrible it is.

Usable at half the price
Not the best lump charcoal but usable, despite the debris in the bag. The price here is insane by a factor of double-plus.

Makes Me Want to Go Back to Propane
Pure garbage, please don’t waste your money. Doesn’t hold any heat and provides maybe 10 minutes of cook time. Most of the pieces are so small they fall through the grates. If you love fighting with your wife on why the food is taking so long, this is what you’ve been looking for!

Found rocks in many bags of Royal Oak brand hardwood charcoal
I absolutely love cooking with hardwood charcoal!!! I have found many many rocks in the many bags of Royal Oak brand. I think it is a good product. However, including rocks to increase weight is very deceiving!!!
