Our Zesty Paws order arrived quickly. I ordered these because my Jill seems to be developing some cognitive issues at the age of 13. She liked how they tasted, and they were chewed up quickly. So far she has only had them for 2 days, and they seem to help her calm down more as we head into the evening hours. Hopefully, they will continue to be effective. I trust Zesty Paws for quality products and they are made in the US. I will set up an auto delivery to help lower the cost if they keep working for her.

These literally SAVED the life of our geriatric dachshund. He’s around 17 years old and was showing severe signs of dog dementia. He would randomly start howling and biting at everyone and everything near him and then start turning in circles, getting dizzy, and stumbling around. He was up all hours of the night. Seemed to be very depressed. We didn’t know what to do for him and thought the end might be near. I did some research and found these chews and decided to try them. After a few days of taking these chews, he was like a puppy again! The episodes completely stopped and he is just having a typical happy geriatric dog life.. and even seems to have more energy than before! He loves going on walks, barking at people mowing lawns, loves his family, and even plays a bit with our younger dog. He pees wherever he wants and leaks urine, he can’t hear, and his eyesight isn’t great… other than that, he’s living his best life! He’s been taking these for several months now and will be taking them the rest of his life. The only downside seems to be the taste. He will NOT eat them without something masking the flavor. Lately he seems to enjoy them with some warmed salmon and melted Swiss cheese around each half, on top of his dog food. But that’s an easy workaround and worth the value it adds to his life…. Which it very literally SAVED!

I bought this for 14 year old dog. She has been waking me up every 4 hours w/ awful anxiety. I gave her this for the first time last night and she slept for 8 hours straight. I did think it had melatonin in it but it does not. I ended up giving her 2.5mg of human melatonin. I will say she chilled out without the melatonin but I was not sure if she would sleep through the night without it.

Knock on wood but been using these for my 7yr old Bully at night for about 6 months. He is wide open. I mean terrorizing my girl dog. He gets snappy with my Frenchie since he's the alpha of the 3 but proven when we run out he's right back terrorizing but when he's taken them in the evening way more just chill. We love this brand. I pray it keeps working.

I don’t usually write reviews— but this one deserves for others to read it. My dog is my baby. She’s a 15 year old bichon. Her name is Delilah. She’s almost deaf. I’d say her name and her ears didn’t move. I’d yell her name and no reaction. She goes to the vet regularly.I started her on these and within 3 days she turned her head when I yelled name. I couldn’t believe it. She got more lively too. I am thinking the calming aspect helps her relax as she sometimes cries for no reason.I am wondering if dog foods are missing certain nutrients dogs need. She eats Orijen dog food her whole life. We also give her cooked chicken daily.- for reference. I am thinking this because all within a few days she could hear better. She is still hard of hearing— and I do have to yell her name— but I’ll take it!I came on to order it again. She likes the taste too.We have a mini Australian shepherd also. He’s not elderly. He likes them also. One time he accidentally got two and slept like a baby. So they must be relaxing. They both get 1 per day- they love them.I hope this helps. I am amazed.
