LK** A: I found it completely useless for me. The tape does not adhere to any surface and makes it difficult to hold on. **Q: why is is listed as "outdoor only"?** A: Not sure, but it is fantastic tape. My guess is that they do not want the tape used inside for DWV applications. I use it extensively outside for drainage and sprinkler applications, and it holds tight. **Q: Is this tape plain, solid black...or does it have the design on it as pictured in the item picture??** A: This is a black tape with the design as shown in the picture. **Q: Can this be used on foam insulation tubes on hvac lines outside?** A: In my opinion yes. I've used it in doors as well as outdoors, of course nothing last forever so inspect it every 6 months to see how it's holding up.
