Nokia 8110 (TA-1059) 512MB/4GB 2.45-inches Factory Unlocked, International Stock (Yellow)

I've been looking for a feature phone as my primary and intl travel phone in one. I wanted something petite and a fun conversation piece but not too old school where I would be totally helpless in emergencies where I needed internet/google maps. This is a pretty solid phone. I get a lot of questions about it. I think coming from iphones to this was a big leap backwards but it was worth it. Also, it is not too backwards as this lil guy has wifi/hotspot bluetooth sharing, google assistant, google maps, email, facebook, whatsapp, and Instagram works through the browser in it. The only thing that really sucks is texting. T9 is still a drag in 2020. Google assistant can send voice to text messages which is helpful. I really like this phone a lot. One word of advice - you cannot use carriers other than AT&T because of the frequency bands. I have AT&T and H20 Wireless and they both work perfectly on this, but not at the same time which is weird. I still have to use my Iphone for work sometimes but my banana phone goes everywhere with me.

Nice nostalgic piece to, feels well made like the old Nokia though much light. If you are not looking for graphics this is the phone you want

I'm confused on these low ratings. I purchased this item and it's great. I live in Ohio and have Cricket which is owned by AT&T. I placed my sim card in the top sim mount, not the slide in one next to the battery and it connected immediately. The phone material is kinda cheap and the 8110 I received had been touched because there were smudges on the display, but they wiped right off. The hotspot feature allows me to use all the apps on my smartphone and is very user friendly. Quite a few neat old school ringtones come on it and of course snake. My keyboard had both English and Thai characters on it, but that's fine! The English letters are much more prominate than the Thai characters. Has YouTube, Twitter, Google and email apps on it as well. If you live in the Cincinnati area and have cricket service and a micro sim card the swap is as simple as can be.

The battery went to almost no ability to hold a charge within a month of little use. Buttons are really hard to press individually. The whole phone is insanely poor quality. I was hoping to go back to that brick phone quality experience but this is overpriced trash.

I got mine yesterday and got it activated on AT&T with no issues. I did need to set the SIM card (sim #2) explicitly in some of the settings, but that was it. The reason I give 2 stars is because when typing using the number-pad, it very frequently registers double keypresses. For example, I'm trying to type "h" so I hit 4 twice and the phone goes g-h-i. Very frustrating. Hopefully once it gets a little broken-in it will stop doing that. Otherwise love it.

I purchased this for a cheap second phone line. It uses AT&T as a carrier OK when I was in the city areas but when I went out to more rural areas it said ‘no service’ available event though my other AT&T phone found a tower. This phone seems to be meant for use outside of the US. Perhaps it does not have all the different types of GSM frequencies that are here in the US. The keys are also very small for my old big hands. It is very difficult to enter the number passcode to get my voicemail. The keys often produced double numbers when you pressed it once.

Just bought my 8110 4g this week and was a little nervous with all of the mixed reviews about network support in the US. I just went through the setup process with Straight Talk (Use the AT&T SIM) and I now have talk text and data access, so far without any issue! The phone is snappy considering the limited hardware it uses and the plastic used feels high quality. I haven't been able to find the predictive T9 settings, so typing is a bit slow, but the key pad is responsive and has a nice feeling to it. If I run into any issues in the next few weeks I will certainly update this review, but for now, I'm just excited to step away from social media without letting go of basic connection (talk and text) and GPS abilities.

I tried a touchscreen smartphone for about 18 months. Couldn't get used to touching the screen. Seems wrong to touch the surface to which you view things. I like the curvature and ear to mouth angle of this phone. It is too bad that the predictive input for SMS doesn't stay on; you have to manually activate each time. I only charge this phone once a week. And at the end of my week, I typically have around 69% battery life left, WOW!

This phone is a genuine Nokia, there's fakes out there, works great!, didn't come with English instructions but they are available on line, was a Christmas present for mom and she loves it

Gran producto, llego a tiempo, el empaque estaba dañado un poco pero el producto intacto, es un gran teléfono la verdad me sorprendió, porque el sistema nuevo que tiene, es como un mini smart phone, se conecta a internet, puede ver videos, ver youtube, muy buen producto, el único problema que el teclado tiene idioma como hindú, obviamente se puede elegir el idioma que uno guste, recomendado ampliamente.

cool simple phone with enough internet to still google something, not much data to waste your day browsing.

I've tried this phone but it won't make or receive calls even though it is supposed to work on my network provider. SMS Works. It also registers single press of buttons as double press quite often. The seller won't respond to my attempts to have it reimbursed. I feel bad d'or this purchase.
