Great product
This is a great starter for yogurt. It works every time. The yogurt is creamy and not tart. It is very smooth. I have bought this many times and they all worked. I keep it in the freezer. It is worth the price.

Good culture! Great job!
Got it yesterday- made a pretty good, thick yogurt in my instant pot on the "sous vide" function. I had set it at 108F for 6 hours n left it overnite after it was done. It was a very tad bit sour...maybe next round I'll set it only for 5 hours n maybe not leave it overnite...let's see. Although the quantity is less, this culture is much cheaper than another brand I'd gotten n also they give free shipping while the other brand charged about $5 or$6 for shipping. Also, I only need to use 1/16th of a teaspoon for a half gallon for this one,, so should last me a good while. Also, per their instructions I store it in the freezer, so should be good for a while....so overall a winner!!! Only issue is shipping is not in ice, so as soon as I got the notification that my shipment had arrived, I ran n got it...especially since it summer now....

Easy to use and store
This worked great from the first time. Using 2% milk and fermenting for 8 hours, the flavor was mild and creamy. Straining a little the next day made it even better. It is so small, it is easy to tuck into the freezer door. I would recommend adding the culture at closer to 100 degrees than 110. I think one batch did not work well because my temperature was too high when I added it. It would be helpful if they had a measuring spoon for smaller batches. I ended up using about 1/8 tsp (estimate - since 1/4 tsp is the smallest spoon I have) for 4 cups milk. I will definitely be ordering it again!

The jerk store won't let you return anything, not even if they deliver late

Best tasting yogurt!
This yogurt is the best we have ever tasted. When I tasted it plain after it was finished I ended up eating a whole cup. It is smooth and mild and blends well with fresh fruit and granola. I can eat only small amounts of other yogurt in the same mixture. This one I can finish in a normal amount of time. I highly recommend it. I have only made one quart so far, but expect I will be able to make several more using some of what I now have, so that little jar should last awhile.

Good but not great
I make yogurt in my instant pot all the time using a different powdered starter. With this starter my yogurt turned out runny and the taste is super mild. Everyone else is saying their yogurt turns out thick? I used whole milk. So I'm not sure why mine didn't turn out.

My favorite so far.
I used this in cold start yogurt. It worked great. Its a mild yogurt and very thick. It takes very little to culture a half gallon.

Makes Great Yogurt
I love this. Easy to use. No more having to temper the hot milk with store-bought yogurt. Love the taste. Good value.
