However, I am puzzled as to why these traps are so expensive. In mid June I saw many vine weevils (at least fifteen) crawling in my garden and decided to buy this product. I placed the block of wood on the soil, following the instructions carefully. Nine days later I saw one of these adult insects dying; I then looked around the garden carefully and found several dead ones (about six). They were in all different parts of the garden, so it is important to remember that they do not necessarily die near the block of wood.
