Review: Awesome smaller matt - I really liked this matt because its super portable and stores well in the provided bag. I recommend keeping the thick cardboard tube as it helps with storage and shape. It lays pretty flat even on first roll out. I also recommend getting a cup simulator because that makes it way more fun. The ball speed is pretty good and the whole thing is easy to use and set up. I got on prime days so it was a good value. This has turned out to be the best christmas gift ever. Everyone who goes over to his apartment loves putting. We have all probably taken about 5000 practice putts by now! So, let me tell you: if you know someone who loves golf but can't play it in the winter, this gift (where you get all the puttout extras that go with the putting green) will probably rank among the best gifts they ever got in their life. The only thing I would recommend is that if you do get this as a gift and your friend is left handed and doesn't have a bunch of extra putters laying around, buy a cheap-o putter to go with it so that other people can also putt too. We have watched football while putting and loved it. Seriously it's super fun and with the gates it's very very challenging even if you are already pretty good at putting.

**Q: What is the best way to brush and care for the matt? Just wondering best way to remove putting "groove" from using the same line every time.**
A: The Dyson vacuum cleaner works great, maybe weekly. I play 4 times a week, my putting never strays too far unless it rains a lot. I'm just trying to keep some feel going when I use this mat, I prob. hit 10 or 12 balls, watch tv, hit couple more through out the evening. I have not noticed a putting groove, rarely do I putt same putt over and over, I move on every putt. Love the alignment lines on mat when I am putting poorly, easily see your mistakes.

**Q: How thick is the mat?**
A: I used a tape measure and the mat appears to be 1/4 inch. The mat is very sturdy. I bought two and placed them next to each other so I can practice up to 15 foot putts. I am extremely happy with the putting mats. Also recommend the Pressure Putt Trainer. I place that at the end of the mat to simulate a hole. Works great! Highly recommend both products!! Has kept my putting game sharp during winter cold months. You are so much further along once the weather breaks and you can get back on the course. Mike Campbell

**Q: Is the mat machine washable?**
A: No. It is almost 8 feet long to begin with, but would be ruined if it was put into anything like a washing machine. You could possibly spray it off but I’d advise against even doing that. But it is a great practice putting mat. I’ve gotten dramatically better and now play most rounds in about 32 putts (down from 40+).

**Q: How much will the green speed be effected if the mat is put on carpet?**
A: I do see a difference when I putt on my carpet vs hardwood. My carpet slows down the puts a bit. I'd say on carpet, it plays like a 7-8 stimp, where hardwood is closer to a 9.
