Review: A good product worth the money spent if the energy consumed is really what i claimed...! - It is a good fan, working quietly and giving good breeze along with sweep (area covered), better than some Havells fans that I also have at home (unfortunately!). Incidentally, I am using one of these fans 24 x 7, since I work from home and this is installed in the room where I work and keep my laptop, so it keeps both me and my laptop cool all day long. The only reason that I have not given it 5 starts is that I have no easy way of measuring the power actually consumed by the fan, the primitive method, of course, being to connect a multimeter in series with the fan to measure the AC current consumed, but if Crompton Greaves offer a simpler method of checking the power consumption, I, as an electrical engineer, would welcome the idea of verifying the power consumption compared to the Havells fans that I also have...!

It is a good fan, working quietly and giving good breeze along with sweep (area covered), better than some Havells fans that I also have at home (unfortunately!). Incidentally, I am using one of these fans 24 x 7, since I work from home and this is installed in the room where I work and keep my laptop, so it keeps both me and my laptop cool all day long.
