Bonne qualité.

The 7.75-inch length of these shims makes them incredibly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether I needed to level a toilet, door, or window frame, these shims handled the task with ease. Their design allows for easy snapping and adjusting, providing precise and stable leveling for my projects. One of the standout features of these composite shims is their durability. Unlike traditional wood shims that can rot and warp over time, these shims are made of a composite material that is resistant to water and weather. I have used them both indoors and outdoors, and they have held up exceptionally well, even in challenging environmental conditions. The shims' construction ensures they won't compress under heavy loads, providing reliable support for various installations. I appreciated their consistent thickness and strength, which made them a reliable choice for heavy-duty leveling tasks. Additionally, these shims are incredibly user-friendly. The easy snap feature allows me to quickly adjust the shim size to fit my specific needs, saving time and effort during installation. The shims are also easy to trim, making them customizable for unique projects. I was also pleased to find that these shims don't splinter or leave residue, making them cleaner and safer to work with compared to traditional wood shims. Overall, I highly recommend the Pro-Grade Composite Shims for anyone in need of reliable, durable, and easy-to-use leveling tools. Their versatility, water and weather resistance, and precise leveling capabilities make them an indispensable addition to any DIY toolkit. Whether you're a professional contractor or a DIY enthusiast, these shims will undoubtedly make your leveling projects a breeze.

Exactly what I needed to shim up a project. They are sturdy and heavy duty. They are thin so you can use as many as you need to get just the right level.

Does the job for shimming windows so you know it’s not going to rot over time

Shims are rigid enough to not compress or deform under significant load or when driving into gaps as a wedge. I have hit them surprisingly hard with a hammer without even cracking a corner. They are strong and rigid but not brittle. I screwed (#8) and nailed (12D) through them with no splitting/cracking. They are manufactured cleanly- each shim consistent in composition and dimensions. They are essentially pre-scored with their "ribbed" design making them easy to snap at the right length/thickness. If you can get a clean shot with a hammer to snap them or don't have strong hands, they cut easily with snips, diagonals, or a knife. Deal Guys got them to me quickly, in perfect condition and at a great price. I cannot yet attest to the "never-rot" claims, but based on what I see/feel in manufacturing quality and design, I am confident they will perform inside and out reliably.
