A book on stoiscism by any other name
This is not a poor book by any means. However, it is not something to rave on about either. Each chapter goes into detail about the reasons for overthinking, the effects and proposed solutions. There are a variety of solutions proposed to fit a variety of differing personalities, lifestyles and mental health issues. On this front the book is pretty good and well worth reading. Containing as it does a lot of useful and practical insight and wisdom. In many ways, this reader found, "Stop Overthinking: 23 Techniques..." to be very similar in content to beginner or entry level books on stoicism. In fact many chapters link the techniques to stoic practices. and the final chapter (chapter 6) is pretty much a generalized summary of stoicism, based on the teaching of Epictetus. Overall, this reader considers this book to be a good, informative and practical read. However the material contained within is hardly groundbreaking and there are far better books on stoicism out there.

Great read
I liked that there were a variety of different methods to use, if something doesn’t work, try another method. Everything was straight forward but also delved deeper into the complex mind.
