Point being I finally got to trying out magnesium glycinate. I tried regular ones first and I was still getting muscle cramps in my feet and my blood pressure wasn't regulating well. Once I switched to this chelated type my BP has been getting lower and lower along with taking a daily potassium supplement that has a little extra magnesium oxide in it as well. I might be able to eventually get off BP meds with eating low histamine and taking the magnesium and potassium daily. Sad thing is PCPs won't tell you about this. They only know how to push the money makers for them onto you that have bad side effects. Especially when used long term. These are a bit bigger than I'm used to, but I seen to swallow them fine in the morning. I even use a CPAP machine at night so have dry mouth in the am when I take my meds and I'm fine. The label states "Magenesium 270mg (as magnesium glycinate chelate) per serving, which is defined as two tablets. The problem is, I don't know if the 270mg refers the the weight of the actual element magenesium or the weight of the magnesium glycinate chelate molecule. If the weight refers to the element, then elemental magnesium is 135mg (270/2) per tablet. If the weight of refers to the magnesium glycinate chelate molecule then the weight of elemental magnesium is roughly 19mg per tablet. This is because the weight of the magnesium element is only roughly 14% () of the weight of the magnesium glycinate chelate molecule. There maybe others out there that know which option of the two the term "weight" refers to. If not, since Amazon sells it as their brand, they should be able to clarify. **Q: Im confused. At top it says magnesium glycinate but ingredients only show stearate which isn't especially healthy. What's really in this?** A: The stearate is listed under 'other' ingredients, aside from the Magnesium Glycinate ;) **Q: What are the cons assocuated with this product?** A: They work just as good as Doctor’s Best Chelated magnesium - they are glycinate and not oxide but like Doctor’s Best THEY ARE HUGE PILLS - very hard to take unless you crush them up. **Q: Is this magnesium glycinate? The title says it but in the ingredients it only says “magnesium stearate”… not the amino acid glycine** A: Magnesium Glycinate is a form of magnesium that is “chelated” or attached to the amino acid glycine.
