I got this after an outside air intake was installed and a large amount of box elder bugs made it into the HVAC system, keeping them toasty inside all winter until they came out the ducts. The company installed a screen that did absolutely nothing. So after digging around to find a solution and found this. Mounted it right after the outside vent, and also put a finer screen on the outside grill as well. Just didn’t want to suck on dust from outside. There is a separate exhaust for range hood that’s not in this picture. This is the 8” that requires a 14”x20” filter.
