I had to buy the Drill Doctor. **Q: will this sharpen drill bits with a hex attached, similar to the Milwaukee Shockwave?** A: No. This sharpening attachment is designed for bits that have a uniform diameter. If you look closely you will see that the bit rests in a V-shaped holder which sets the correct angle. Any attachment to bit would "cock" the bit and make it impossible to get a correct angle. **Q: Can this be used with a belt sander?** A: Sure. It's all in how you mount it.
