They are all related to this PC having two different video outputs with different hardware and drivers, causing constant attempts to find a missing monitor??? Put either Debian or LMDE on it and it only enables the needed drivers and hardware. It has no other issues. Running LMDE. This Bluetooth transceiver reached the advertised 100 feet, with the laptop in my work shop. Thinner walls lol. I'll test on yet another old laptop soon. I expect it will work fine. If I have any complaint it is that 100 feet isn't quite far enough. I have property on both sides of the highway, and the signal cuts out before reaching the farthest point from a computer with the dongle plugged in. Not a deal breaker though; I can easily switch to a different PC or in some cases just use my Wi-Fi connected spy phone(no SIM, not going to get one either).
