I've been using Nair for ~45 years, and the quality has always been consistently high. I'm glad the company has made several product updates and offers multiple formulations to accommodate different skin sensitivities and needs. I sometimes can't find Nair on the shelves of local stores, so I find the three packs very convenient and economical. The cream is rich, densely colored (making it clear to see where it's already been applied) and easy to spread, though I always wear disposable gloves, turn them inside out to minimize the smell (which generally, isn't horrible, but does have a slight hint of lye), and pitch them immediately after application. For best results I usually exfoliate (lightly!) with a salt scrub before applying this. I never apply it to the back side of my knees where the skin is thin and sensitive, but everywhere else (on my legs & underarms) I leave it on for about 10 minutes - I found that duration to work best for me over the years, but please read the instructions and follow what works best for your skin! I remove it, against the grain of hair growth, with a textured, synthetic bath towel, like you can get at The Body Shoppe, rinsing frequently so that each swath is clear of product and able to really pick up hair close to the skin. I'm a brunette, (my leg hair is between fine and course) - true smoothness lasts for about 3 days, but hair growth is slow, and I never have to worry about cutting myself or suffering painful razor stubble. I finish by lathering up with Aveda Rosemary mint shampoo (though any minty/eucalyptusy soap will likely do) - it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and cleared of any remaining depilatory residue. I generally follow with a light body moisturizer. Always stellar results.

This Nair cream has honestly been a game-changer for me. It’s easy to use, has a much gentler scent than the older versions I remember, and the oat milk and vanilla formula feels way more soothing on my skin. I leave it on for the recommended time, and it removes the hair without burning or stinging, which is huge for someone with sensitive skin like mine. What I really appreciate is how smooth my skin feels afterward and how long the results last. I can go several days without worrying about regrowth, and I don’t get that rough, stubbly feeling like I do with shaving. It may seem like a small thing, but having something that works well and helps me feel more comfortable in my own skin means a lot. I’m so glad I found this, and I’ll keep using it for as long as they keep making it.

My mom told me that she’s been using this for years and that it works amazing removing her hair. So I got myself some too. If my mom says it works is because it works so I’m excited to try it.

It's comfortable and easy to use, though it tends to leave a little stubble :/ but I'm giving 4 stars because I haven't found anything more effective. The smell is also not overwhelming in my opinion. It does leave your hands feeling, like it's difficult to wash off the residue.
