Amazing!!!
I recently purchased the HS290 drone, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The drone is incredibly easy to set up and fly, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced pilots. The stability and control are excellent, and the image quality of the camera is superb, capturing clear and vibrant footage. The HS290's battery life is impressive, allowing for extended flight sessions without frequent recharging. Additionally, the drone's design is sleek and durable, with intuitive controls that enhance the overall flying experience.Overall, the HS290 offers fantastic value for its price. It's a reliable and high-performing drone that has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch aerial experience!

Fun and durable!
Incredible! Bought this for my 9 year old nephew, he loved it! I loved it! We crashed it several times into trees whilst learning how to fly it and it was totally fine, it even fell through a tree and recovered itself and didnโt hit the ground! Havenโt tried it with a phone attached to the controller yet but for ยฃ40 itโs absolutely banging! (Was on offer)

Camera lag.
Good drone for kids, if your a beginner I recommend you get something a little bit more expensive because you cannot fly the drone far and cannot fly via the app camera because itโs too laggy other than that brilliant drone

Uncontrollable on First Flight โ Flew Away and Ignored All Controls
My son bought this drone with his Christmas money and was incredibly excited to fly it. We followed the instructions carefully, completed the calibration, and used the take-off button as instructed. Initially, the drone lifted and hovered correctly, so everything appeared to be working as promised. However, as soon as we gently pushed the controller to ascend just a few feet, the drone suddenly accelerated away at speed. It flew over the park, over nearby houses, and off across open fields. From that moment on, it did not respond to any controls at all โ including the emergency landing button. There was no way to stop it, slow it down, or bring it back. It simply disappeared. This was the very first flight, in suitable conditions, and after following all setup procedures. This was not misuse or inexperience โ the drone was clearly faulty and completely uncontrollable. A product that can fly away instantly and ignore all commands is not safe, not reliable, and certainly not fit for purpose. My son is absolutely gutted, and as a parent itโs incredibly frustrating to see ยฃ50 of his own money wasted on something that failed immediately. The product promised a stable, controllable flight experience but delivered the opposite.I would strongly caution other buyers, especially parents purchasing this for children. Based on our experience, this drone cannot be trusted.

Great choice for beginners
The Holy Stone HS290 Foldable Drone is a great choice for beginners and casual flyers. The 1080P HD FPV camera delivers clear, smooth video and photos, making it fun to capture aerial views in real time. Its foldable design is compact and travel-friendly, so itโs easy to take anywhere. The drone is stable in flight, simple to control, and packed with beginner friendly features that make learning enjoyable rather than intimidating. Battery life is solid for its size, and overall build quality feels reliable. A fantastic drone for the price and a lot of fun to fly.

Decent Starter Drone, But Keep Your Expectations Realistic
This is a decent little drone for the money, but itโs definitely more of a kidsโ toy or beginner drone than something for serious drone enthusiasts. The drone is lightweight, easy to set up and fun to fly. I liked that it comes with two batteries, a carry case and spare propellers, so youโre ready to go straight out of the box. Battery life is around 12 minutes per battery, giving roughly 24 minutes in total if you use both batteries, which is reasonable for the price. On the downside, the camera is fairly basic and the footage can be quite shaky as there is no image stabilisation. It also struggles in windy conditions due to its light weight, and the lack of GPS means you need to be careful when flying outdoors.Overall, itโs a good introduction to drones and a fun way to learn the basics without spending a fortune. It has its limitations, but considering the price, itโs hard to complain too much.

Great drone
I bought this for my sonโs 10th birthday. Itโs an excellent drone, and very easy to fly thanks to the automatic takeoff mode. Itโs fun For both children and adults to fly, and is excellent value for money. If your main purpose is to take video or photos, then this probably is not the drone for you as the video / photo quality is not the best. Iโd recommend looking for a 4K camera drone in this case. For flying around and having some fun, this is a super drone for the money. The flying range is great too, at near 100m.

Great beginner drone
The Holy Stone HS110G is a great drone for a beginner, not only because of its features like Headless Mode that ease the job of learning to fly but also because it comes as a package that contains the drone, remote control, two batteries and a very nice fitted carrying case all at a price point that makes it one of the least expensive GPS drones around. And if that isnโt enough it comes from Holy Stone, a drone company with an excellent reputation for its customer support.I received my HS110G quickly from Amazon and immediately charged the remote and the two batteries. My first impressions of the drone were totally positive. It weighs in at 185 gm with a battery installed and comes with a fixed camera that takes a micro SD card in a slot in the rear. My 32GB card seems to work fine. The landing gear seem like they will do a great job at protecting the camera and are quite short. The result should be excellent stability. The case has a nice zippered pocket that I used to store the miscellaneous parts: spare propellers with screws and screwdriver, spare landing gear, charging cable and instruction manual. There is an interior pocket also. The inside custom foam cutouts nicely cradle the drone, remote control and two batteries with room for additional batteries should you get them. Altogether, a very nice package. My first flight continued to meet my expectations. After calibration and waiting for sufficient satellites for a good GPS signal I took it flying. The one key takeoff function works great with the drone hovering in place over its takeoff point. The default speed is the middle one, speed 2 and it is a great speed for learning to fly. Speed 1, the slow speed, is very slow and really helps steady the drone when taking pictures and especially video and speed 3 is quite zippy, for the more confident flyer. I flew at all the speeds around my field and landed a number of times. The battery life I got was 13 minutes, just as advertised. I also tested the return-to-home function several times and found it behaves well, first hovering in place and rotating to face its home take off point then rising to the preset RTH altitude and finally returning to the home coordinates before slowly descending to land. The RTH altitude can be set in the app and I was careful to set it high enough to be above all the tall trees around me. As I expected, the low landing gear kept the drone upright after landing and I was almost always able to take off immediately from the landing position, a nice feature if you happen to land some distance away. I did crash a couple of times, including hitting a wall and the drone was unfazed. Just set it upright, reinitialize the gyro and take off.The camera is fixed and not gimbaled which limits the usefulness of the extra features like Follow Me, which does follow the remote but doesnโt do a good job of keeping the subject in the frame. I have to say, the only thing I didnโt like was the battery charging, which has to be done with the battery in the drone. It do wish it had a charging dock so that both batteries could be charged at the same time. But itโs a convenience item that in no way detracts from the excellent flying experience I had with the drone.Overall, you get a lot of bang for the buck with the Holy Stone HS110G: GPS, a camera, two batteries, nice case, good support. It has headless mode, GPS and multiple flight speeds which really help a beginner learn to fly while minimizing crashes and reducing the risk of loss. And it appears to be fairly robust so you can fly again after most crashes. If youโre on a tight budget and just want to try drone flying it makes a great starting drone.

Good for beginers
This review will be a little different from your average review. I will start off by saying I have about 35 minutes total of droan flying experence. I purchased an HS720 4K droan plus 2 extra batteries and 2 propellar repair kits. After after flying a few 6 or 7 minute flights I decided to gert more brave, get above the trees and look around. This did not turn out well. I lost line of sight because of a tall pine tree and that was the end of the flight, and the droan. I did get a good picture of a pine tree and some sky from the droan on my phone but I never found the droan. Lesson learned. I bought another HS720 4K and it is still in the box. That is the reason for the HS110G. For a little over $100.00 you can get this one. Startup is simular to the HS720. Read the instructions and you are ready to fly. Depending on how long it takes for your WiFi etc. to hook up you should be ready to go in 15 minutes. I decided to test it in a confined area in my back yard. I wanted to see how difficult it would be to control it in a small area. There are any number of videos you can watch showing you great pictures in large areas, but I see no reason to do the same thing. Watch the video and you will see what I am talking about. Flying this is fun. You can see I crashed it twice, once getting too close to a tree and once landing it without using the return home button. Neither did any damage to the droan. The landing video is seperate and I can only send one video. This droan hande's minor crashes well. If you are a beginner like me you can't go wrong with the HS110G. To me, the picture quality is excellent, the soft case and interior with the form fitting foam is tops. The only thing wrong with the HS110G is the person holding the controller. Get one, you won't be disappointed. Update 7/12/2020. After watching the video I submitted, the video quality I see is nothing like the original. The original I downloaded to my computer looks very clear.

Awesome for 1st time flyers
I purchased the Holy Stone HS110G because I wanted a drone with GPS and already had the HS110D before. This drone is very similar to the HS110D but has a different transmitter, which is rechargeable and does not perform 360 flips. The camera is the same as the HS110D which records in 1080P. The camera can record Video, take still photos and will give you FPv capabilities via the downloadable FREE smart phone app. The battery on the HS110G has a 3.7V 1500MAH battery which allows for a 13 minute flight time. I have always been impressed with the way Holy Stone products come packaged. This drone did not disappoint. Everything came neatly packaged in the included carrying bag which in my opinion, is an added bonus. Flying the HS110G is very easy due to the GPS feature. Just make sure you calibrate the drone correctly before flying. Failure to do so can result in your drone not flying stable and or your drone flying out of control. There are very few negatives for this Drone. First, charging the battery can only be done in the drone itself which is a drag because you cannot charge both batteries at the same time. Secondly, the package only comes with 1 micro USB cable which will not allow you to charge the Transmitter and Drone at the same time. I wish that we can charge both batteries as well as the Transmitter all at one time. This way, one can minimize the wait time for charging and maximize the flight time. Overall, The HS110G is a great drone for the price. It is a stable flyer (As long as calibrated correctly) and great for the first time flyer. Holy Stone Customer Service is great as well. They will always try to help with any issues as best as possible. Definitely would recommend purchasing this product. Have Fun and Happy

Outstanding performance and a great price!. For both beginners or advanced drone pilots.
I have a couple drones and other RC products. The Holy Stone HS110G stands out as one of the best I have flown. If you are interested in buying a drone or upgrading, please read this review. I will cover all the highlights of this drone. First, like some of the best products made, the packaging usually reflects the quality of the product. The HS110G comes in a perfect designed and well padded case for storage and transport. I actually have never seen a well designed case for an inexpensive product like this. It protects the drone, and is easy to keep things stored. I have considerable experience in the plastics industry. The HS110G drone is made from very durable quality plastic that can take an impact without breaking. The fit and finish is comparable to drones costing many times more. It is obviously engineered by a team that designs state of the art aesthetics with the best materials and functions. Both the controller and drone are robust. The controller has a great feel with a quality weight, not a cheap toy. So, how does it perform? I set it up first indoors. The instructions are clear and written with great visuals. I took extra care indoors. If this is your first drone, just tether the landing gear with string and a weight if you want to learn to hover and the controls. If outside just follow instructions and fly it. Easy! I took it outside with winds around 5 mpg with gusts, and flew it around the yard.Great Fun & Wow, stable and speeds adjusting from low to fast, for beginner to advanced. I really totally impressed. I went up to max saltitude and watched the sunsets and the next day sunrise. Very cool. I took a few images and videos. The camera resolution outperforms my other drones. Crisp and clear photo and video. Great to capture stunning vacation shots you could not get without a drone. I tested the follow me feature, auto take off and land, everything worked great. A real test is to see if a drone comes home if something unexpected happens. I sent the drone at high altitude towards the woods. It disappeared at great distance. I actually thought I lost it. A minute or so later it came right back and landed. I was totally amazed. So, if you want a high quality drone that is affordable, easy and fun to fly with a camera and all the needed features, the Holy Stone HS110G is the one to buy. For yourself, a loved one, or to give as a gift. You will be totally pleased. I hope this helps. Have fun flying......

Little More Difficult
I read a lot of reviews, and even had my father who flies RC planes and drones approve my purchase. The product itself is nice and came with a nice case... BUT if you are new to drones I guess it failed to meet the easy standards. My teenager has programmed robots, good with technology and watched friend fly his 1500.00 drone with a gimbal camera. She really wanted a drone to take camping with us. Bought this model for her b-day and it just did not work as easy as either of us thought. Drone flying is a HOBBY. Not like a remote control car you turn on and drive. The drone had to be calibrated every time you used it or crashed. Had to remember the remote control positions and hand holding the drone a certain way to rotate it for the lighting to turn the correct colors so you know you successful calibrated each position. As a busy adult, my brain only retains so much memory - lol. Would be nice if the iPhone could direct you to setup steps. The thing would beep and display red lights, but the the directions did not tell you why it was unhappy. I thought hooking it up to her phone would give us an immediate birds eye view from the drone - but we never figured that out. The directions are not clear, and the Amazon screen shots does not seem to depict live video viewing as a feature. It says it can take pictures and videos, but not sure if you can watch it live and stream it to your phone. The quality was there, the size was nice....cool little thing, but it took way too much effort to setup each time for the short fly time and my daughter decided she would rather have something different. They are use to video games which is turn on an go. Again - for true hobbyists and enthusiasts of drones, this may be a good one. But if you want it as a "toy" to take out to the park, or camping - its not a get out a go kind of thing for todays teen.
