Who offshored production. In 2016 Smith & Wesson’s Battenfeld Technologies division bought Taylor Brands. Very pleased with my purchase. Gave one to my brother so we had something the same together. Was a bit disappointed in the sharpness of the blades, but nothing I couldn't address myself. Edges were rather rough too. Knife is good quality and was surprised to find Old Timer still in business. Lifetime warranty is great too and this is handy to have in my pocket for when I don't carry a sheath.
