A great all-rounder 3D Resin that wonโt let you down.
If youโre diving into the world of resin 3D printing, ANYCUBIC Upgraded Standard Resin is a solid choice that wonโt leave you cursing under your breath mid-print. It pours smoothly, cures consistently, and delivers crisp, detailed prints without too much drama; exactly what you want from a resin. First off, the consistency is spot-on. Not too thick, not too watery, just that sweet spot that flows well and sticks to the build plate without causing a mess. Plus, the curing time is nicely balanced; youโre not waiting forever, but itโs not so fast that you end up with brittle prints. Once set, the details are sharp, even on those tiny, intricate parts that can be tricky with lower-quality resins. Color-wise, it holds its tone well, and the translucent options (if you go that route) actually stay fairly clear without yellowing too quickly. If youโre painting your prints, this resin takes primer and paint like a champ; no weird textures or unexpected surprises. The smell? Well, itโs resin, so yeah, itโs got a bit of a chemical punch, but itโs not overpowering as long as youโve got some ventilation. Speaking of which, the fumes arenโt as intense as some other brands, which is a bonus if you're working in a smaller space. Durability-wise, itโs strong but not brittle, making it great for both detailed models and functional prints. And if you need something a little tougher, it mixes well with flexible or toughening resins for extra strength. Downsides? It can be a little sensitive to temperature, so if your workspace is on the chilly side, you might need to warm it up a bit for the best results. Also, as with all resins, shake the bottle well before pouring; settling happens, and nobody wants a streaky print. Overall, this resin is reliable, easy to work with, and delivers fantastic detail. Whether youโre printing miniatures, prototypes, or just experimenting, itโs a great all-rounder that wonโt let you down.

Very strong smell.
Itโs not a bad 3d printing resin but you have to have very good ventilation as the smell is so bad and wonโt go for days!

Amazing
The Anycubic 2.0 Resin has been a real step up from earlier versions. It produces crisp, detailed prints with a lovely smooth surface finish straight off the build plate. The consistency is great โ flows well, mixes easily, and cures evenly with minimal shrinkage or warping. Iโve noticed a big improvement in strength and flexibility, too. Itโs not as brittle as older formulas, making it perfect for both miniatures and functional parts. The colour tones are clean and take primer and paint beautifully. Another plus is the low odour much easier to work with in smaller spaces and it cleans up nicely with standard resin cleaners or IPA. Overall, Anycubic really nailed it with this resin. Reliable, beginner-friendly, and professional-quality results every time. Highly recommended for anyone running an Anycubic printer or looking for a solid, all-purpose resin!

Very good for a "standard" resin
It is my "go-to" for standard resin, especially now it's been upgraded. I get more detail with this resin than with the "tough" grey, but of course the latter is better for parts which need to withstand some flex.
