I looked up "dark guitar strings" on youtube and came across several mentions of these Thomastik Plectrum strings. I have used Thomastik strings for low G and wound C on a Uke and love them so wanted to give these a try. While they are much more expensive than most strings it seems, they perform exactly as advertised. That over "brightness" I was getting from the Phosphor bronze strings is not present with these and they give such a nice warm tone. I love them. Would recommend for anyone to splurge and give them a try on your guitar :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Damn they sound good *by J***R on February 20, 2025* I love these strings, but it took a secondπŸ˜‚.So right when I put them on my little martin I was somewhat disappointed being that they sounded decent but not much better than the elixirs I had on it previously. After about 6 months of being on the guitar though, these strings sound amazing! People have asked me what type of strings are on that little thing just from my playing it, they sound so good. They do take some time to settle in though.
