Osmo Action 4 Waterproof Action Camera Bundle, 1/1.3" Sensor

The camera is everything I hoped it would be. It captured some things at much further distance under water than I was even seeing. The up close shots were vivid and colorful, even when diving a few feet down to take them. The accessories kit and storage case from this bundle left some things to be desired, but the yellow float worked really well for snorkeling and it has plenty of attachment pieces to get it mounted to the float without issue. I definitely bought a much better storage case as it was not fitted well to the accessories and everything felt a bit loose/sloppy. The extra batteries give you plenty of run time, I didn’t even have to do a swap during 4 hours where I took ~ 100 photos.

I've owned the Original Osmo Action ever since it was released and it became one of my favorite cameras to use. Like all DJI products, they aren't perfect out of the box, but with firmware updates, they only get better. I skipped on the OA2 because I didn't like the modular design, but when this one was announced, I pre-ordered it immediately. There's mixed reviews on YouTube about it and I can't speak for them, but I can speak on my own experiences using this camera. The not so good... So far, I can't switch between front and back screen while recording (this option became available on the original OA a few months after its release. The microphone doesn't pick up as well as the front mics when talking behind the camera. The last is lack of ability to mount an external mic to the camera, but there is a solution. The good... Maybe I was one of the lucky ones? But the picture quality is AMAZING! I love having the option to choose different fields of view, the zoom option is nice and much better low light performance. Being able to film 4k 120fps and 4k slow motion is great. Plus it never overheats and outlasts GoPro on both battery life and heat threshold. The build quality is excellent as well as the redesign of the battery door. The battery life is phenomenal! I can film in 4k at least twice as long as I can on my original OA. The front mics pick up sound well and I found a solution for an external mic mount. I just picked up a selfie stick / mini tripod which has a cold shoe mount on the side. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Awesome camera!!! Easy to use, does exactly what is advertised regarding temperature range!! Video quality is excellent, as well as audio quality. Best camera on the market for the adventurer who is out in all sorts of weather conditions. Don't have to worry about getting it wet when outdoors, in the rain, snow, or in the water. All the accessories in the Adventure Combo are of good quality. The DJI brand is well known, and I was so impressed with the OSMO Action 3, that I have already bought the DJI OSMO Action 4 camera! You won't be disappointed!!

Excellent product. Intuitive, versatile, compact; superb. It's also affordable in terms of the quality of the product. The '50 Piece' combo sounds silly, but I can see about 80-90% of the stuff in there, you'll find use for at least once. So far, the only minor inconvenience I've had was with pairing this thing with a lavalier mic (Maono); the little usb-c receiver can't connect because of how recessed the port on the camera is. Solution was easy though, buy a little 'L' adapter/extension and it fits perfect, looks clean too.

In my experience before getting the Osmo Action 3, DJI have been such an innovative company that delivered quality products from end-to-end. And apart from the Focus Issue with the Osmo Action 3, I would still hold that view. I was a professional photographer, so I have an eye for focus & image sharpness. The OA3 Camera I received from Batch 11/2022 was not terribly out-of-focus (like the 9/2022 batch), but after some general testing, specific testing and then a comparison test with a friends' GoPro Hero11 Black -- the camera is certainly NOT as sharply focused as it should be. So, I returned the camera and Amazon did the right thing by me and issued a refund -- thank you Amazon! I do plan to buy another OA3, but I would like to receive a camera from a 2023 batch and again will do my own Quality Control Testing because of a lack of trust with DJI over this issue. I'd like to buy the Costco Bundle (+extra battery +memory card +storage case for less $ than the Standard Combo), but my fear is that DJI are dumping in the out-of-focus 2022 batch cameras in with the Costco bundle, so check your batch numbers! PLEASE KEEP POSTING REVIEWS WITH FOCUS ISSUES IN-MIND AND INCLUDE YOUR MANUFACTURING BATCH DATES. DJI are making this problem worse... because of the Focus issue and the lack of proactive steps from the company in NOT announcing the problem, NOT stopping sales and NOT issuing a recall, it seems customers of the OA3 are pixel-peeping to check if their $329 investment is a good one, and many off us are finding fault, even if that is a minor fault which many would not have found if DJI had done the right thing by its customers in the first place. I wonder if DJI will soon release the "Osmo Action 3S" to resolve these issues and move-on? On a positive note -- the OA3 user interface is great to use and very responsive. The magnetic attachment clips are a game-changer and will be a reason many switch from GoPro. And the camera's form-factor is small and easy to use and carry, better than GoPro! Battery performance is also great as claimed! DJI -- please factor in these future improvements for the Osmo Action 4 (or 3S): #1 -- Include the larger sensor concept that GoPro have to illuminate the need for Vertical Shooting & allow Square 1:1 shooting #2 -- step-up the image quality for equal GoPro #3 -- make sure the camera is in-focus before shipping it out world-wide #4 -- AND make a hand-held Gimbal for the Osmo Action that can control the camera. I know your Image Stabilization is excellent, but there is still a need for a Gimbal in low-light situations and to get smoother and controlled camera movements and create automated movement for Timelapse's etc. The Hohem iSteady Pro 4 is good (especially for $79), but DJI can make a much better OEM gimbal for the Osmo Action.

I like the overall functionality of the camera. Battery duration is good enough but i would recommend to get the kit with the two spares and the charger. The automatic orientation of the video helps a lot when you export the media recorded. I was using a Go Pro 7 Black and in comparison, the media recorded here is much greater with the wide angle view less distorted and a much better performance on low light conditions. The only things i would criticize is that, in comparison with a Go Pro, the camera takes more time to connect to the phone for remote control, the connection is less stable and also it misses the capability to turn off and on the camera remotely. Things that the Go Pro Hero 7 can do but his one no.

Way more stuff than anyone needs or will probably ever use. The lithium-ion batteries can be an issue as more of them catch fire on planes. Will they be banned or have they been already? I got this for trip now not sure it is worth taking because of potential hassle. Things to consider. Oh,.. works great but way too complicated for a person who wants the old point and shoot. IMHO

I recently got the DJI Osmo Action 3 Adventure Combo and I have to say, it's great! I took it with me on all my travels and holidays, and it performed flawlessly. Whether I was exploring theme parks, water parks, or even capturing stunning shots in high latitudes surrounded by clouds, this little gadget didn't disappoint. It works exactly as advertised and has become an essential part of my travel gear. Highly recommended for all adventure enthusiasts out there!

I purchased this in 2022 for my 3 month trip to the Philippines and just got back in 2023 - I used it everywhere taking pictures and videos. The quality being awesome, I have read others having issues with poor quality or micro sd cards being ruined - non here what so ever. Video's and pictures crisp and clear. Only issue I have had was when using in the water trying to swipe the screen from video modes or say to picture mode was not responsive allowing me to do. Dry I had no issues - but when wet not work so well for me. Otherwise I highly recommend. The videos I captured underwater is breathless along with pictures taken. Battery life awesome also but I did get the battery pack and that really works great! I highly recommend.

OA3 Adventure Combo paketini uzun araştırmalar sonucu satın aldım. Go pro hero 11 ile dji arasında kalmıştım. Youtube incelemelerinde go pronun görüntü kalitesi noktasında daha üstün olduğu açıkça görülüyor ancak aşağıda yazdığım maddeler nedeniyle Dji tercih ettim ve kararımdan gayet memnunum. 1)F/p noktasında kesinlikle dji'ın daha önde olduğunu düşünüyorum. Go pro hero 11 için sadece cihazı bu ücretlere alıyorken Dji komple bir set veriyor. 2)Vlog tarzı çekimler yapmayı düşünüyorsanız go pro için bir media mod satın almalısınız bu da yaklaşık 2.5-3k(TL) ektra maliyete sebep oluyor. Media moddan almayayım bir dönüştürücü ve yeni bir case alarak işi çözerim diyorsanız Yine 1.5-2k(TL)arasında eksta ödeme yapmanız gerekiyor.Yedek pil ve sarj istasyonu ve selfie çubuğu olayına girmiyorum bile onları da ayrıca satın almalısınız. Dji Adventure Combo seti alıp harici mikrofon takmak istediğinizde Kaliteli bir type-c den 3.5mm trs'e dönüştürücü ile mikrofonunuzu bağlayabilirsiniz. 3)Bana gelen dji 12/2022 tarihli ve odaklanma sorunu yok.10 bit desteği de cihaz açıldıktan sonra güncelleme ile geldi. İki cihaz arasında bir görüntü kalitesi farkı var ancak hero 5.3k dji 4k çekim yapabilyor. Bu aradaki fark aslında hero'nun daha erken ısınarak önce kapanmasına sebep oluyor.Dji bu noktada çok daha iyi. 4)Dji Raw çekim yaparak bu çekimleri daha sonra düzenleme imkanı sağlıyor ki benim için en önemli detatlardan biri bu. 5)Dji'a 128 gb lık bir kart taktım.Baktığımızda çok büyük olmasa da telefona otomatik olarak aktarıö yapıyorum.Telefondan da drive'a aktarım sağlıyorum.Bu benim için gerçekten müthiş bir durum.Hero drive aktarımı noktasında ekstra bir abonelik istiyor diye biliyorum. 6)Menüler çok sade ve kullanışlı, ekran dokunmatiğinin hassasiyeti gayet iyi ve yeterli.Bir donma ya da kasma olmuyor. 7)HorizonBalance,rocksteady,rocksteady+,timelapse,hyperlapse modları gayet iyi çalısıyor. 8) Karanlık ortamlarda go pro'ya göre daha güzel performans gösteriyor.
