Predator [Blu-ray]

U-NEXTだと配信なし、Prime Videoだと1600円の別料金でザラザラのHD画質、本商品はたったの1300円で高画質のフルHDは買いだと思います。 2000円するAmazon独自パッケージはリパックしただけで内容は同じでした。 これで好きな時に何度でも見られるので嬉しいです。

子供の頃に良く見たプレデターをこんな高画質で見れるとは思わなかった。(当時はVHSの録画物) プラトーンとプレデターの内容がイマイチごちゃ混ぜになっているので見直してみる事に。 思い出補正云々抜きにしても文句の付けようがない作品かと。 あえて吹替え版を選ぶ理由としてはTVでの放送育ちだからかな。 この声じゃないと違和感がね(本人にはアレだけど)

久しぶりに見たくなりレンタルしました やっぱりいいですねぇ~😄

まあ、言わずとしれたザ・プレデターですよ。面白いし緊迫感もあるし、この時代のCGがほぼ無いのもいいですねえ。ただ'80〜'90年代のアメリカの映画はグロいの当たり前なんで、グロいのが苦手な方にはお薦めしません。 プレイステーションのバイオハザードみたいにグロテスクな表現が含まれていますって警告でもあったらいいのにねw 日本語吹替版に関しては何故かTV版のしか入ってなくTV版でハショられた部分は字幕になっております。専用に吹き替えされてないんだねえ🤔こういうのは滅多にお目にかかれないよ

アーノルドシュワルツェネッガーのプレデターは最強に面白い(特に最後のシーン)、それがuhd blu-rayで蘇るって贅沢すぎる笑 絵になる存在感

It's 2023. If I have to review Predator in terms of the film itself, we've failed as a society. I'll leave this part of the review at this: Predator holds up as arguably (and in my opinion, definitely) the greatest action film of all time. Thanks to its setting and mostly practical effects (mercs in a jungle fighting a monster), it never really looks dated. Despite coming out in 1987. Now let's get down to what matters: for years, Predator never had a proper HD transfer. For a classic film available at home since the VHS days, that's shocking. The DVD was fine for its time, and Predator didn't always have the best visuals — you have murky night shots in the jungle, and the scene of Dutch going over the cliff into the river looks like it was shot on 8mm. But the daytime shots should never have been a problem. Yet when the film was released to bluray, it didn't look as good as it should have, and had artifact issues. As has been extensively covered, the studio opted then opted to restore the film for the "Ultimate Hunter" edition - with "restoring" basically meaning applying a tedious amount of digital noise reduction. The film wound up looking plastic as a result. A film that had a high amount of grain because it was shot on a budget on cheap film stock with natural light suddenly lacked any grain, but also detail in many shots. The DNR took out more than it should have. Thankfully, the 4K transfer fixes that. This is Predator as it should be seen. It's still not going to dazzle visually, but it doesn't have to. It just needs to look authentic to the movie released in 1987. The story and action carry the rest. Here's a good comparison between the 4K and bluray releases for those trying to see the difference: the 20th Century Fox logo has grain on the 4K release. It's supposed to. It does not on the bluray because it's been digitally altered. But that alternation, smoothing everything out, reduces texture. I'm giving this a five because we finally got a proper transfer for Predator. Do note that the included blu ray is the Ultimate Hunter edition, so you've got all the noise reduction issues there. I'm rather stunned that the studio didn't release a proper 1080 transfer since they did the 4K anyway. It would have been easy enough to master a 1080 release off the 4K transfer. But, I'm happy we at least got something done right, though stick to watching the 4K if you're buying this. Maybe for the 40th anniversary we'll get a proper 1080 transfer, but I suspect at this point this is as good as it gets.

Vale muito a pena pegar essa edição importada do México. Um filme que envelheceu bem, não ficou datado, os efeitos especiais, os efeitos práticos, um talentosíssimo elenco, direção, fizeram deste filme o melhor da franquia Predador. Os bônus deste filme são um show á parte, com um vasto material áudio visual, que não é encontrado em outras edições deste filme. O BD entrega uma imagem excelente, de alta resolução e nitidez.

I've seen a lot of so-called IMAX 3D movies over the past couple of years and for the most part, it's a gimmick. It's not the object floating in front of you that you feel you can touch 3D. It's just a picture with depth to it. With the exception of movies like Gravity, most of these movies are not true 3D. They just take a flat plate in the front, another flat plate for the middle and then the background which give the illusion of depth. Now, enter Predator 3D. The 3D, the way I described it above, is just as good if not better than most of the 3D movies I have seen or even own. I loved it. Predator is already a great movie and in my opinion, Arnold's best acting, but the 3D element gave it more of a kick. I kept finding myself saying "Wow this is cool!" I read a lot of reviews about the picture quality which made me hold off on buying it. I own a lot of older movies on blu-ray and I felt the picture quality was great. The close-ups of the actors, the clarity of the beads of sweat on their faces. There were details that I never noticed before. For $9.99, Predator 3D was well worth the purchase to see an already great film with new eyes.
