But I tried saving money and bought some cheap ones online and two of them broke in less than a month. I have tried these Preludes now on a 4/4 and a 3/4 cello and two electric cellos. For the money they are hard to beat. There may be better strings out there that cost more, but I am thinking now that buying anything less than these is false value. I am a beginner cellist but am currently really liking these for the price. I currently have some helicore strings on the 4/4 and those do sound slightly better.
