Review: Super happy about this purchase - I guess I have never had a proper quality helmet before this one. It feels so solid and well done! The visor is wide and so well thought with dark shade that you can lift up. Super happy about this purchase ! Review: Very good - Very nice helmet for the price. I had an AGV before this, and this is cheaper and slightly better. The only thing was that the little red plastic button on the strap was not there: it had probably fallen off. Anyway since it's purpose is just to prevent the strap flapping around, it didn't bother me. I needed to upsize to XL on the SMK( which equates to 61 cm), while a 59-60 size AGV used to fit me. So it appears to be a little tighter than the AGV size. But once I changed the L sized SMK to an XL, it is now fine. Kudos to an Indian company for making a very good quality helmet. ## Features - Compact & Aerodynamic Shell Design: Perfect for sports touring and daily commuting, the Typhoon Thorn's sleek design cuts through the wind for a comfortable ride. - Industry-Leading Safety: SMK's Typhoon helmet range prioritizes safety with a high-quality build and certifications meeting ISI DOT and ECE 06. - Enhanced Visibility & Protection: A Pinlock Fitted visor ensures a clear view even in rainy conditions, while the easy-to-use inner sun visor provides additional protection from harsh sunlight. - Enhanced Ventilation System: Stay cool and dry on long rides with strategically placed vents on the mouth and top areas that promote airflow. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D7MMSG9W | | Best Sellers Rank | #7,028 in Car & Motorbike ( See Top 100 in Car & Motorbike ) #89 in Full Face Helmets | | Brand | SMK Helmets | | Brand Name | SMK Helmets | | Closure Type | Double Ring | | Colour | BLACK - GL251 | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Motorcycle | | Country Of Origin | India | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 45 Reviews | | Item Type Name | Motorbike Helmet | | Item Weight | 1600 Grams | | Manufacturer | STUDDS ACCESSORIES LIMITED, PLOT NO. 918, SECTOR 68, IMT, FARIDABAD, HARYANA - 121004, STUDDS ACCESSORIES LIMITED, PLOT NO. 918, SECTOR 68, IMT, FARIDABAD, HARYANA - 121004 | | Manufacturer Contact Information | STUDDS ACCESSORIES LIMITED, PLOT NO. 918, SECTOR 68, IMT, FARIDABAD, HARYANA - 121004 | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) , Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) | | Material Type | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) | | Model Name | TYPHOON D RING S01 - THORN | | Packer Contact Information | STUDDS ACCESSORIES LIMITED, PLOT NO. 918, SECTOR 68, IMT, FARIDABAD, HARYANA - 121004 | | Specification Met | DOT, ECE | | Sport | Motorcycling | | Sport Type | Motorcycling | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | Motorcycle | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SMK Helmets - **Colour:** BLACK - GL251 - **Item Weight:** 1600 Grams - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) - **Vehicle Service Type:** Motorcycle ## Images ![SMK Typhoon Thorn ISI ECE & DOT Certified Full Face Dual Visor Helmet for Men and Women with Pinlock Fitted Clear Visor and Inner Sun Visor ( Black - GL251 - 2XL ) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61srQG+9uqL.jpg) ![SMK Typhoon Thorn ISI ECE & DOT Certified Full Face Dual Visor Helmet for Men and Women with Pinlock Fitted Clear Visor and Inner Sun Visor ( Black - GL251 - 2XL ) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lYhgoC0vL.jpg) ![SMK Typhoon Thorn ISI ECE & DOT Certified Full Face Dual Visor Helmet for Men and Women with Pinlock Fitted Clear Visor and Inner Sun Visor ( Black - GL251 - 2XL ) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71H4c8qdiOL.jpg) ![SMK Typhoon Thorn ISI ECE & DOT Certified Full Face Dual Visor Helmet for Men and Women with Pinlock Fitted Clear Visor and Inner Sun Visor ( Black - GL251 - 2XL ) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XeCCs-IHL.jpg) ![SMK Typhoon Thorn ISI ECE & DOT Certified Full Face Dual Visor Helmet for Men and Women with Pinlock Fitted Clear Visor and Inner Sun Visor ( Black - GL251 - 2XL ) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61s-EqgGVrL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super happy about this purchase *by M***A on 31 August 2026* I guess I have never had a proper quality helmet before this one.
