first off i will say the first shot of espresso i made with this machine was incredible. i was shocked. it was better tasting than what my delonghi makes on some days. this was after cleaning it out and plugging it in to make sure the battery was charged. i ran it plugged in. this is important because................... this machine needs 400 watts for the heating element to function. no portable lithium battery will provide this. like all portable espresso machines of various sizes this requires you to use hot water in order to use it, unless its plugged in. what sets this thing apart from those smaller machines is that this also functions as a real espresso machine. BUT, most cheap car inverters will power this thing. if you are like me and have always wanted an espresso machine in your personal vehicle this can still be it. 400 watts is far less power than my normal espresso machines use. so this is bigger than a aeropress, smaller than a full size espresso machine, and has the same noise level you would expect from a real espresso machine with a real water pump. no idea if its really 15 bar or whatever it claims but it made a real shot of espresso with good crema so i really dont care. i think this is a good deal for what you get. ultra portable espresso machine, its incredible.

It makes great espresso and it has a nice layer of crema on the espresso which my old espresso machine doesn't do. The cold brew that it makes is great, too. What I didn't know when i bought it was that it doesn't heat the water when using with battery. It only heats up when using 110v. The description got updated now to make it more clear that if you use battery power you either heat the water on a stove or fire or you drink a cold brew, which i must say does taste really good.

JUNK will not heat water in battery mode

This product is bang for the buck. Does espresso, americano, and cold brew. Seems to only heat when plugged in, and doesn't heat water on battery power, limiting the user to cold brew. There's not nearly enough volume pushed through for me to consider a cold brew from it because its as large as an americano.

I love my coffee and i used to carry around a full espresso machine to work for mine. This made it easier and fits in my backpack. Even has that layer of crema on top

Update from 1/18: half year, did not really travel a lot. However, when I need it, it works. Just come back from a trip, use it for two hot americano, satisfied with its quality. Up the star to 5 for now! Update from 8/17: Candy’s support reached out and sent me a new unit for further testing, it works this time. Tried both Espresso, Americano and Cool brew. First day impression is not bad, I won’t say the coffee quality is excellent but for this price, design and etc., it worth the bucks. So raise to 3 star for now. Will try few more trip and report back here. Hope it will last! Review from first unit: First cup, heating takes quite some time but water out ok. Second cup, the plumb quit working. Spend an hour to see if I can make it working. No luck. The button and status LED and etc. are not intuitive enough. Overall, feel and look like a solid product. But it just does not work for me. Not even reach the coffee tasting part.

Great while it worked... Bought it in Sept 2025. It produced a good cup of espresso. There was crema on top of every cup. I use 14 gm of espresso grinds. Then in April 2026 it started to leak from the tank. Not sure what happened, it has been sitting on my kitchen counter. Soon there was water on the bottom of the machine. Such a shame, it was really good as a everyday machine till...kaput. luckily I bought it on sale so no big loss.

I love this portable espresso machine!!! I use it with my portable 600W power station ( vitoman solar generator) in the back of the car. It only uses about 10% of the power station battery per use. My husband and I both travel for our jobs ( pilot car ) and getting a decent cup of coffee on the road is essential. The unit is easy to use once you get acquainted and it makes the perfect single cup of strong coffee. If you like a lot of creamer with your coffee, bring your own mug, make an Americano and you are good to go. No more paying 5-8$ for a cup on the road. The machine pays for itself in a few uses at that price. The scoop and tamper split apart, and both pieces fit inside the metal cup so everything fits inside the machine. Oh and if you have any K cups laying around pull the foil off and put the coffee in the metal coffee basket. It's just the right amount. At least with the Death Wish coffee I tried. Our favorite BRCC coffee doesn't come in K cups so I just grind a bag worth at home. Now the on board battery in the unit will make cold brew coffee without additional power, or hot coffee if you heat the water separately. But honestly if I'm going to go to the trouble to heat water on the camp stove I'm probably going to pull out the French press. But that's just me.
