Important night safety aid
This strobe is waterproof and rugged, for mountaineering and sea kayak use. I have used one for many years and I am delighted the same product is available for my wife's kit.

In conditions of poor to non-existent visibility this strobe does an excellent job of enabling divers to maintain buddy contact and of providing a beacon to bring divers back to the starting point. Durable, lightweight and unobtrusive it is should be part of every diver's kit on night dives or dives in poor visibility.

Bought this to replace my previous Princeton Tec Aqua Strobe. It had stopped working. It was a Xenon bulb style. The only issue with the new LED style, is the fact that the LED wafer is sitting flat and reduces the amount of light seen when the light is floating vertically from the back of your scuba tank. I painted the outer half of the lens (inside) with some white acrylic craft paint. This increased the visibility to other divers greatly. Great product.

Wir haben zwei dieser Blitzlampen! Mit einem Band an der unteren Öse der Lampe kann man sie an der Flasche/am Flaschengriff/Tank/DTG befestigen, so dass die Lampe beim Tauchen über dem Taucher schwebt. So findet man seinen Buddy wesentlich leichter wieder. Die Lampe benötigt nur eine normale (AA) Batterie. Im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!
