The video I did really doesn’t do justice to how pretty these jugs are in person. I should’ve waited until a sunny day because you can see light reflecting off the ribs and it creates a pretty spectacular display on the wall. I can’t attest to how it works for its intended purpose of brewing (there’s a flat area on the other side that I’m assuming is for labeling), but for the very basic purpose of being a water dispenser, it’s been fabulous. You definitely have to account for the extra weight with it being very thick glass, but the 3 gallon is fine for me to carry two at a time, and the super cheap stand I have it on hasn’t had any issues. They were packaged well; the packing foam seemed kind of thin for shipping glass, but they were double boxed and it’s very thick glass, so I can see why they wouldn’t have an issue. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. My only minor criticism is that the mouth opening doesn’t fit standard plastic jug caps.

After over twenty years of 5-gallon spring water delivery service, the quality of the water deteriorated so I decided to refill my own bottle with water from an under-sink filter I installed to remove the chlorine taste and impurities/metals. This bottle is perfect and it fits in my existing cooler perfectly. I purchased a set of silicone lids on Amazon that have plugs in the center to accommodate the spike on the cooler the bottle sits over. The larger size bottle (5 or 6 gallon?) might fit, too, but the glass is very think and heavy so I chose the 3 gallon size because the weight of 5 gallons of water plus the glass seems too heavy to safely lift for me without the fear of dropping it. So glad I bought this! The glass is thick and perfectly clear.

Very happy with this purchase. Needed to split up a 5 gallon batch into a few smaller vessels for experimenting. This and two 1 gallon carboys worked out perfectly. Very well made. Showed up a couple days early as well. I will definitely be purchasing more of these and others from them.

Love this glass Carboy! Perfect size and perhaps it will not break when it falls. It pours even better than my old 5 gallon one

Solid, use this as a water dispenser for our dogs. Wanted a glass container instead of plastic. Weight is heavier than the plastic bottle but I think it's healthier than plastic for our dogs.
