How do you take off the top half of the case, I couldnt seem to find an any way to remove it from my phone?

You have to be careful taking it off. I actually cracked the protection screen for the case ring to take it off. But, I learned how to take it off in the process. You have to slide the bottom part off first, then push the top off little by little from the corners. This is probably the nicest case that I have, but I like to switch cases occasionally.

Listen y'all, i drop my phone. a lot. on concrete or brick most often. will this case hold up but more importantly protect my phone?

This case is strong and sturdy and will protect your phone. However, being constantly dropped, you run the risk of damaging your phone through no fault of this case. I still recommend this product and I am sure you will be satisfied with how well it protects your phone.

Can dirt get under the hinge cover?
