Tamagotchi Connection - Dainty Bows

My very first Tamagotchi ever was the Connection v4, so when I saw they were remaking Connection, obviously I had to grab one! This version is based mostly on the v3, but it's still so incredibly nostalgic! I collect Tamagotchis on and off, and love that I get to add this one to my collection. It's super cute and works great! Absolutely 100% recommend! By the way, I saw some reviews complaining about not being able to turn off the sound or pause the Tamagotchi. You definitely can turn off the sound and there's a way to temporarily pause. So, if you press the A and C buttons at the same time together on the main screen, it should pop up and ask if you want the sound on or off. While the pause option is not as cut and dry, you technically can pause, albeit it can be quite annoying sometimes. If you hit B, you will see the time screen. Pressing A and C together while the time screen is up should let you set the time. While the time set menu is active, your Tamagotchi will not progress and is essentially, "paused." But the annoying part is, you have to re-set the time to unpause. They do end up giving you an actual pause function in the v4, which is great because you don't have to re-set the time anymore. Fingers-crossed they remake the v4 next and bring back Tama Town 🤞

AMAZING! a little pricey, but I love these shells, gave the heart aura one to my sister, and I kept the star one, absolutely beautiful

The game is amazing and full of items to collect. However, the battery included in the box didn't last long at all. I switched to Energizer batteries and they work perfectly with much better durability. Make sure to have a spare CR2032 ready from day one! Also if you're able to buy a case to protect the screen, just go for it.

Worked good and love it

Cute nostalgia. I like the updates to the game with this version but the batteries drain quickly. So basic gameplay is best for battery preservation.

I personally never had a Connection version of these when I was younger and bought this on a whim when I heard they were rereleasing them to celebrate their anniversary. Was pleasantly surprised to see that these offer a little bit more to them than the original Tamagotchis such as different food options, multiple games to play with your Tamagotchi and most importantly infrared communication so you can connect two devices to play games and marry creatures together and get new offspring. If you don't have anyone else to connect with and don't want to spend the money to buy a second device, don't worry. The game will offer a chance sometimes for a random spouse to appear once your Tamagotchi reaches adult age that you can marry to make a new baby for when your current adult dies off. You will still miss out on the other connection exclusive things like games you can play together, but this toy is fun enough on its own that you should find plenty of enjoyment with just one device. Battery life is pretty decent, the one that was included in the device when I got it lasted exactly 25 days and if you're quick enough to swap in a new battery while the low battery screen still displays on the screen you can download and continue with your most recent Tamagotchi and all your items and family history will still be intact so you won't have to start all over. The only things affected when doing so will be that the time will be slightly off which is easy enough to fix and your Tamagotchi's hunger and happiness levels will be empty which again is an easy fix. A couple of complaints I personally have with this are that the price being a little bit steep for what is 20+ year old technology at this point and that these devices which after some online searching seem to be based off of the V3 Connection programming don't offer a pause function like some of the older Connection versions do for some odd reason. You can still pause in a manner of speaking by going to the time screen and activating set mode and just leaving it be on that screen and setting it once you're ready to come back to it, but it would be nice if you could do a proper pause for when you're not able to care for it due to life responsibilities.

I named him Jimmy >:3 he is so cute, has lots of games to play then the old versions and way more character model things you can get then my last one did, its good quality and its a good size. plus easy to navigate around in the menus and things. def worth the money and a good gift for someone who would be into something like this. the only downside I've had is how often i have to change the battery, luckily it doesn't reset the whole thing when it dies, and you can change the time back to normal after downloading which is super helpful!

My child was very happy with this Tamagotchi Connection, and I was so pleased to see that enjoyment. We bought the Orange Burst version in 2025, and the happiness it brought is the main thing I want to share about the purchase. There are several Tamagotchi lines and many different designs, so this review is specifically for the Connection in Orange Burst. The bright name and playful presentation give this version a cheerful identity. For me, though, the most rewarding part was the person receiving it: my child was delighted, and that made the choice feel worthwhile. I am happy to give it five stars based on that positive experience. It was a purchase that brought happiness to both of us.

Just go for it. Totally worth it. As long as you stay consistent, you'll have no regrets. You'll enjoy it a lot.

海外製で不安だったけれど大丈夫でした！ イメージ通りのデザインでとってもキラキラ✨

普通に楽しいたまごっちです。

Top! Mais attention à la pile/ batterie qui bug sans raison et sans prévenir ... Dur de trouver une pile qui ne bug pas La partie est sauvegardée, en tout cas de mon côté, même si la pile saute ou est changée, donc ça va

I love my tamagotchi so much! The product came quickly and works just as a Tamagotchi should. The only thing was the battery it came with died within 4 weeks which I feel might be a bit quick for a new tamogotchi, but it was easy to replace and inexpensive. Highly recommend.
