Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter, 2022 Version

Once it was setup, it has worked perfectly. I use it for Android Auto. I had a wireless Android Auto device from another manufacturer and that one would disconnect occasionally while in use. This has never disconnected. The only drawback is sometimes I play music from my phone via Bluetooth to my car. It won't let me directly do that. I have to launch Android Auto, and then it will play the music from my phone.

Update (11/24/2025). Changing my review to 1 star for below reasons. 1. Multiple times the car infotainment screen has gone blank, this includes displaying the map and the reverse camera. This got addressed only after I unplug and connect the adapter few times. 2. The MORE SERIOUS ISSUE - Upon using this device, due to excessive heat or for unknown reasons, the phone's motherboard is damaged and I had to reinstall the OS in my S22 Ultra (cost me 250$). The service person advised to start looking for a new phone as this phone cannot be relied for longer use. I will never recommend this anymore to anyone in future. I was looking for a wireless android auto adapter for my Hyundai pallisade 2022. The product is very sleek and performs good. There is no lag in map/youtube response. In the beginning (for a week) I noticed the phone was over heating whenever I was driving the car, it is not happening now (not sure of the reason). Challenge: Whenever I open my car door (even to pick something from the car) the phone bluetooth is connecting to the android auto and I am not able to disconnect it at all for few minutes. Overall I like the product and will definitely recommend.

I've been using this now for over 6 months in my Acura MDX 2020 and it's worked perfectly fine and flawless I hated the fact that I had to wire my Android auto every time I came into the car now I just get in the car I might Android auto automatically shows up on the screen. Another big issue with the Acuras is Bluetooth would have an audio delay on this thing there is nearly no delay there is a slight delay but like half a second.

Works Amazing but sometimes when i turn my truck on Carplay pops up and goes away, then like a few seconds later show up again and then works. Nothing too bad but a little annoying. Also Took some time to set up but then works great.

It connects to both Bluetooth and wifi but allows the phone to still use cell data. The sound is as good as a wired connection. It did not like when I plugged my charger into my phone. So I charge it up prior to getting in the car. It was easy to setup. It just works as soon as I get in the car. If also tries to connect if I am near the car causing notifications to ding on my phone. No big deal once I understood what the notifications blowing up my phone were. I was suffering with the corded connection pausing with every road bump, this solved all that.

Works great! Vehicle is a 2020 Hyundai Veloster N, phone is a Samsung S25+. I've gone on two 3+ hour road trips and about a month of daily work commutes with no disconnections. The response time and audio quality I find is no different than having a wired connection. It connects very quickly as soon as I start my car. Only hiccup I've had is when I walk away from my car after starting it to warm up. Sometimes it will lose connection and won't reconnect when I come back to my car. But if I pull the device out of the USB port and put it back in, it will reset and connect to my phone right away. So not really a fault of the device but rather an issue if you take your phone out of the Bluetooth range. I love the compact size, I don't even notice it plugged in.

Well I bought this wireless car play adapter for my android auto, based on the reviews, they were fair. It worked great for about two months, now like another user said, it has connection issues, I try different ways to connect, but now it connects sporadically, ki d of disappointed, it started off strong. I may look at a different device. Your mileage may very. Good luck.

Love it! No more struggling with cords or having disconnection issues. This little adapter makes life with CarPlay super smooth and stressfree. Every once in a while I need to unplug and replug to reset it, but that is a small price to pay for the benefit it provides. Recommend.
