Longlasting ProtectionThe strong ceramic blade is the ideal choice for a dive knife that lasts against wear and tear. The durable material stays sharp longer for extreme reliability that you can depend on and offers reduced risk of corrosion. For a dive cutting tool that you can count on, go with the IST K-22 Line Cutter.Easy AttachmentThe impact-resistant blade cover and nylon lanyard easily attaches to a carabiner or clip. Keep it close by in case of emergency for unexpected entanglements and other dangers.Convenient VisibilityThe last thing you want in an emergency is to be searching for the right gear. The super-bright plastic covering this blade is an absolute essential for dive safety. In low-light areas, the neon yellow or pink helps you spot your line cutter quickly for quick retrieval. Review: Works great, and as expected. - This works like all line cutters and as expected. The even better attribute is the ability to put horizontal or vertical on a shoulder 2” harness. I have one and want another one but can’t find this brand. Wish they were available. Review: Only good for a very specific range of obstacles - We carry knives while we dive for a verity of reasons. I carry a cutting tool to cut myself or my family/friends free of any netting or cordage/line that might wrap us up in the water. This cutting tool works great if you are cutting a cord that fits in it’s mouth and that isn’t tightly wrapped around anything. I test my cutting tools by wrapping different cordages tightly around my limbs and seeing if I can safely and efficiently free myself. I found that with this cutting tool, when the cordage is pressing into the skin with any sort of pressure, I can’t get the plastic edge under the cordage, and therefor can’t cut it. I’m opting for the Spyderco Assist Salt, as it can safely and quickly get under and cut anything from fishing line to a 1/2 rope even when under pressure.
