Filter works great. I use two canister filters at a time on my 200 gallon custom setup and I rotate the two out with two previously cleaned ones every two months. then I wash the dirty ones by soaking them in clean water and with hose then I put them in a bleach solution buckets for 3 days then do another 3 days with clean water again that I treat to help remove the bleach. After this process that look almost new.

Good replacement filter for my ocean clear canister filter.This one is a very fine paper filter, probably in the 10-20 micron range.It is constructed well and I expect it to last a long time.This filter type allows me to put my bio-media in the center and works very well.Only con is I think they are a little expensive for just a filter replacement.

I have a large tank with 150 gallons of filtered water and 7 RES turtles and 2 musk turtles. This filter with the help of a pump does a great job at keeping it clean and clear.

These filters are great either by themselves with an external pump or being put on the output of a larger canister filter such as FX5/6 or other larger filters. Could be better priced being only 25ft.

Great filter - captures all the crud. Must be cleaned/rinsed every couple of months. There's room in the center to place a bag of activated charcoal if needed.
