One side of the sheet is English. The other side contains some squiggly characters from some other language. The illustrations are generally good, although the three sample schematics are tiny ... I had to use a magnifying glass. **Q: What are the draw amps when idle and active?** A: The battery runs the clock electronics and motor. But of course the battery will run down. So you connect a 12 volt DC power supply, to keep the battery charged. I measured the input current, and it's roughly 7 to 8mA (between 7/1000 and 8/1000 amp). That's quite low. It may be somewhat higher if the internal battery is significantly discharged, but I didn't want to take several days to run down the battery in my timer. The bigger question is: how much current is required by your load device (LED lights, etc.)? Using the timer to control a solar well setup. The first to timers of a different type didn’t last a week each. This one has been going strong for a few months now. Easy to program and change setting. Keeps good time. Currently installed in a plastic enclosure that sits outside, the timer does not seem to mind the hot or cold weather so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lil fast on timer speed but probably my time setting *by I*** on July 19, 2021* Easy to use accurate , quality and cost like the built-in fuse diagram a little confusing poz to left and neg to right mirror on other side poz to right and neg to left.good timer ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Basic clock timer that works well *by N***K on January 11, 2022* Bought this timer to replace a faulty electronic timer (although a popular model) for a 12V solar/electric system for a shed and landscape lighting. It is basically an electric clock with traditional dial and hands. You set the clock and it rotates a 24-hour dial that has small pins that breaks 24hrs into 15 min intervals. You raise all pins corresponding to the time period you want your device to stay on. When the rotating dial reaches that area the switch goes on. Pros: as a non-electronic device it is not sensible to any electric issues: low voltage, interference etc. It has an internal battery to keep the clock running if power is disconnected. Totally solved the stability problem in my case. It is VERY easy to program and can have many on-off periods if needed, very simple and logical. Cons: as it is a clock it makes quite audible ticking sound all the time. Not a problem for my shed installation, but I would not recommend it for a room. Also the instruction manual sounds like a poor translation from Chinese, they could have done a better job with that. Luckily, there's not much to understand there. Obviously, electronic devices can be controlled remotely via app etc, this is not that type of thing.Overall, the product matches expectations.
