I had an outdoor issue with rats messing up my grille, so I placed it on the bottom tray and placed the grille cover back over the grille.I chose this model due to it having the AC adapter and battery option. Only thing I’d change is the location of the AC adapter plug in to the unit, and the length of the chord- but it’s not bad. It is located directly above the entrance to the trap, making it a little tricky for placement. If the chord was longer and the plug was relocated to the top or side it’d be a perfect unit in my mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Squirrels not safe *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2018* I was pessimistic until the other day. Back yard has been getting ravaged by some rodent. Had this back there for a bit with no luck until the other day. It's squirrel foraging time and I think they a are conspirators as well. Unfortunately mr squirrel squeezed into my rat gauntlet and got buzzed. Don't feel too bad, he was triggering my manual traps with sticks and fruits to crack his nuts. Now the rat I know is there is next!
