I'm just looking to do rabbets and decorative edges on small picture frames etc** A: I just now finished (30 minutes ago) fitting mine to a Skil RAS900 router table. Works like a charm. With multiple passes with shallow cuts, you could probably route most anything. To make it fit, I simply cut four small (2") aluminum brackets (drilled holes for the small bolts & screws, etc) to attach the router to the table's mounting plate. The Skil RAS800 is the same, so it'll fit that table as well. In fact, if you can fabricate your own brackets or drill holes in mounting plates (for tables with that type of mounting), it will probably fit any table. **Q: see 2 different opinions on whether or not this can be used with a router table can or can't it be used . Thanks** A: As others have stated, any router can be set-up on a table. I believe Rockler woodworking sells a plate for a small table. The real question is what type of work you plan to do with the router... The DeWalt DW P611 is a great little router. I use one on a CNC router... doing very fine detail work. It does, however, have limitations. Serious woodworkers usually prefer a router with a 1/2" collet. The 1/2" bits are more robust and come in a wide selection of profiles... and with an adapter, 1/4" bits can be used... adding versatility. As for power, if for example, you will be making door panels, the Dewalt would not be a good choice. I have 3 1/2" routers in the 2 1/2 to 3 hp range. Another nice feature to consider is a "plunge" Again, it all depends what you plan to use it for... **Q: Does know how loud this router runs? Could anyone with a noise dosimeter check how many dB?** A: At 17500 RPMs (1.5 on the settings dial) mine measures 78.9 db A weighted at 3 feet. **Q: Hi, i want to buy this dewalt dwp611, but i need to know if it suits me for a cnc router, can you work varis hours? and can i use 3mm cutters?** A: I use this router on my NextWave Shark 120 CNC machine and it is GREAT. Hace años tenía un router que funcionaba con estos tipos de añillos para la profundad de la fresa, se me hizo genial que esta versión de "Palma" tuviese este mismo sistema. El otro, el de cremallera no me gusta nada. En cuanto a la guía para el borde (que se vende separada), queda súper fija, no hay modo de que se mueva ni un poquito. Por otro lado, respecto a los leds, jamás se me hubiese ocurrido poner luz en la base de un router y, con esta maravilla, resultó que es muy útil poder ver claramente lo que se está haciendo.
