Magic: The Gathering Tarkir: Dragonstorm - Commander Deck 1

I picked up the Magic: The Gathering Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Deck – Abzan Armor and overall it’s a really solid Commander preconstructed deck, especially if you want something that can be played right away without needing upgrades. One of the biggest positives is the ease of use. Like most modern Commander precons, the deck is well structured and easy to understand even if you’re newer to the format. The strategy is clear and the cards work together in a straightforward way, so you can shuffle up and start playing without spending a lot of time tweaking the list. The card quality is exactly what you’d expect from official Magic products. The cards feel sturdy, shuffle smoothly, and hold up well during repeated games. In terms of durability, they’re comparable to other recent Magic releases. As usual, sleeves are still recommended if you plan on playing the deck often. In terms of playability, the deck works well right out of the box against other Commander preconstructed decks. The power level feels balanced for casual Commander tables, and the deck has enough ramp, removal, and synergy to keep games interesting without feeling overly tuned. For newer players or people jumping into Commander, that balance is really nice. The art quality across the deck is fantastic. The Tarkir theme really shines through with detailed creature designs and some beautiful dragon and Abzan-themed artwork. Even if you’re primarily a player, the cards look great on the table. The box quality is also pretty good for a precon product. The packaging is sturdy enough to protect the cards during shipping, and it works fine for short-term storage until you move the deck into a deck box.
