**Q: Can the cpu pass through 1 gbit/s worth of data when setup as a router?**
A: Hello, it would be  up to 941Mbps without any plug-in.

**Q: What ethernet chipset? Does it support 1588/ptp HW timestamping?**
A: CPU: Model: Rockchip RK3328; Number of Cores: Quad-Core Cortex-A53; Frequency: 4 x Cortex-A53 Up to 1.3GHz; Nanopi R2S It currently does not support 1588/ptp HW timestamping, I recommend you to use Nanopi R4S or R5S, ASIN: B0B58ML113/B08PKQH6M8

**Q: Does the nanopi r2s run linux (raspbian etc.)?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is there a version with 3 ethernet ports? for merging 2 internet providers to a single lan.**
A: Not that I know of. A fast search seems to confirm it. You may connect an external ethernet NIC Via the USB port, anyway. I don't know about the configuration, though.
